  i have had a quick look and found no references to this, so - here goes..as in the mag we picked up on sunday.. worldwide % increase over 2004 = 1.3%.

  memorial partakers 8524 (compared to 8570 in 2004).

  most european and nth american lands show pretty static figs - britain 1% increase, canada 0%, germany 0%, france 1%, usa 0%... but spare a thought for the inhabitants of zambia where 1 person in 90 is a reporting witness, must be hell going down to the local market!

  But with the generation gone in a puff of smoke, what is the point now? Anyone?

  They used to say there would still be some alive after A. But I think t he alledged basis was something other than the generation thing.

  i am interested in supporting the "big news" news blitz by coordinating a clearing house of jw email addresses.

  most of us have a handful of jw email contacts, others may have whole address books filled of them.

  Interstingly, we've had over 35,000 views on the main thread. If that many people send the news to an average of 10 people ( = 350,000) and those people each forward it to 10 more, that would spread the news to 3.5 million.

  I just had a thought...what if a JW hacker has gotten into Barbara's account and is posting this to have a go at us? What if this is all a theocratic war tatic to get our hopes up? What if I'm dreaming?

  Here are 2 good examples from 'the thread' of what I was talking about.

  I am not going to say anything to any of my active JW freinds YET, not until the NEWS comes out, BUT WHEN IT DOES, I will be notifying quite a few across the US,

  I've been going through and updating my JW addresses getting ready to print labels. Once this thing breaks I'll be running off letters and mailing them. I have over 100 addresses of JW's and relatives of JW's

  Peggy, In all due respect, I disagree.

  The advance notice has given us time to deal with how we might personally want to use the information referred to. Some are deciding to wait & not contact friends/relatives immediately. Others are deciding to go for it. Possibly our knee jerk reaction might be different than if we have some time to plan. Others can use the time to apply the suggestions given by those with expertize in the area. Some good , specific ideas were given on 'the thread'. Hopefully we can do a better job with this than was done with the UN matter. The net & JWD has come a long way since then.

  I would say 'just my opinion', but why should I express anyone elses
