The worldwide preaching of the established Kingdom of God done by Jehovah's Witnesses has become just such a threat to the nations. After all, the Messianic Kingdom of God in the hands of Jesus Christ is going to "crush and put an end to all [man-made] kingdoms." (Daniel 2:44) The message of judgment included in our preaching work is sending out a tremor among the nations. (Isaiah 61 :2) And the shaking gets more severe as the preaching work increases in
scope and intensity.

This one I am talking to, I asked her to please show me the words I have used that convey hate. She could not and praise God she is softening up and some real communication is starting.
I think this shows the value of the loving approach in trying to help current JW's.

What is the best question to ask a j.w. during a Bible study?
by hubert inlast year, i dropped by my daughter and son -in-laws' house just when they were having a bible study, and i was invited to "sit in" on it, and be an observer.
i didn't ask any questions, because i was not prepared for this event, so i "behaved' and just listened.
if i would find myself in this predicament again in the future, i wonder what question i would bring up that they would have difficulty answering, to show how the watchtower lies to new converts and worldly people when teaching them?

I'm with Wombat. The DF/reinstatement doctrine is so man-made and causes so much grief.
It is supposedly based on 2 scriptures. 1 Cor 5:11 and 2 John 10. If one looks closely at the context, it can be easily seen how the WTS goes way beyond anything intended by those scriptures.
There are so many questions that could be asked which can only be answered by citing organizational policy.

The WT conductor, to his credit did say the elders had a responsibility to be merciful, to avoid being ensnared by Satan.
Good for him. The elders here got off the hook.

14 If the Corinthians refused to forgive and reinstate that man, the Devil would overreach them in another way. If the repentant man became "swallowed up by his being overly sad" and gave up entirely, especially would the elders bear some responsibility
I was ready to scream at the WT study today. This point was completly passed over as a couple of elders directed everyone's mind to apply this forgiveness AFTER the person is reinstated.
