Mensa means "table" in LatinI 'm not so sure about that. I thought it meant "stupid".

Yes.
When I was a kid, I thought it was teaching me stories about having good morals and obeying what god wanted me to do.
As an educated adult, I learned that it teaches violence/abuse, intolerance, war, slavery, hate, and demeans women to nothing more than property status.
With that said, I pick and choose how I live my life and what stories I choose to honor.

Jennie- it seems like there would be alot of people in suits, but maybe I'm way off.
Did anyone ever see the Simpsons episode that had Lisa going to a Mensa meeting? It was pretty funny, the Comic bookstore guy was there and I think Crusty the Clown was there too. I guess you never know.

I see the people here as real. Do machines actually pretend to be ex- jw's? haha Just kidding.
I would like to see everyone's real face as their avatar, but that would only happen in a perfect world. Just so you know who you're talking to. But then again, by not seeing the face you lose all judgements and prejudices. It's a wash.

but, sooner or later it seem inevitable that somebody comes along and throws a monekywrench into the mechanism and the huge engine sputters to a halt.. what do people do in a discussion that ticks you off and stops the flow of conversation and turns it from being productive to unproductive?.
is it as simple as disagreeing with you?.
