  I feel all of them are untrue because the bible is untrue. In my opinion, the bible is just a written word of some middle eastern men with big ego's. Also, I do not like your god Jehovah and how cruel he is to his followers and others. I also do not think that Jesus was all that they say he is.

  But you can be a witness for Jehovah if you want to, but I think you are barking up the wrong tree with this crowd.

  And another thing, no one here meant any harsh words to you until you took it wrong and scoulded them like they were your children. I would appreciate it if you don't talk write to my friends like that again. Thank you, T-Lie

  My grandma died last night

  actually she was my stepgrandma.

  she was 86 years old and in a nursing home in florida.

  she was a jw and had been active up until the last few years of her alzheimers disease.

  Aww... I'm sorry to hear that. That's too bad that they are taking over and stepping in, even with her funeral. One of my friends sister died and would you believe those witnesses sat in the front row next to her sisters coffin. She had to stand to the side because all of the seats were taken except in the back rows. They have some nerve. Well... anyways, I'm sorry to hear about your lose and maybe you can visit her at her grave site when you get off of work. That stinks!

  My pet Bunny Died

  my pet bunny "hoshi" died on sunday.

  she got a bacterial infection, and we did everything to save her.

  spent the night in the animal emergency room but they couldn't do much for her.

  Oh.... that poor little baby! I will never understand how anyone could something like this. Kicking a child and then letting her suffer and die. How cruel. I hope they get what's coming to them! The death penalty would be too swift of a punishment, I think they should suffer and rot in solitary confindment for the rest of their days! Ohhhh... how sad!

  Use of the word jah?

  i have noticed on ex sites the use of the word jah in reference to jehovah.

  is this just a slang used by ex's or do active also use it?

  if active members use it, doesn't it seem a bit disrespectful then?

  I dont know where you live but when my nephews were little my sister had almost all of her rent paid and she didn't have a disability and now my mother has a 2 bedroom house that she rents out to a single mother who isn't disabled and she gets more than half of it paid by some program.

  You're talking about Section 8, that is an extremely hard program to get into. Unless your situation is dire, (like living in a shelter or on disability) then you will be on a waiting list that is at least a year wait. Women can also get on it for abandonment. Alot of times the woman has a home to live in, but her husband left and cleared out the bank account, that is also considered a dire need. However, if you own your own home then good luck getting any help.

  But hey, isn't this off the subject. But then again. If it was a perfect world and everyone took care of their own, then maybe stuff like this wouldn't happen. I'm sorry to hear about your mom and family.

  How do I tell my Mum something worse than 'I don't believe it's the Truth'?

  having the short "it's not the truth" conversation with my mum was painful enough and the after-effects are horrible.

  a sort of 'tactful' wall went up between the two of us - i hate it.

  i can sense that my mum gently shepherds my kid brother (18) towards his sisters ('elders wives') rather than have him spend time with me.

  Don't tell her. She doesn't have to know your every thought. If she brings up bible verses just nod your head and be polite. Why tell her something that she will never understand and she will only become more distant from you? Love
