Nancy- Your kids a cutey. He reminds me of my boy, looks like roughly the same age.
You should play with him sometime. Some people throw the ball, others play scrabble, I play gamecube. The kids love it when I get points and new tools in the game. We make it family time. Right now I can impress my son but I know there's going to be a day when he passes me up. Have fun.

I guess I'm a bit slow on the take. I didn't notice any switches, I'll look next time. Also, I think I need to go back and do some of the "chores" the townspeople give you. Most I've done but a few still remain to do. I've got the pictograph and I tried to take a picture for the nintendo gallery but he wants it in color. Any suggestions on getting that stupid kid on top of the tree? I flew into him, nothing happens.

Maybe I don't have all of the maps yet. But my sea chart is full- I went to all the fish and the islands. I did find these coliseum looking things. After I fought all the bad guys then a door opened and in that room are these 2 plates on the ground. What's up?

i used to live in chicago and i moved back to my home town just to be near my sisters.
my husband had to search high and low for his line of work in this town and loved me enough to move back when he saw how sad i was without them.

they are no longer jw's and have attended community college.

It sounds like your mother has dementia or a mental illness of some kind.
I used to help my uncle in-law with cleaning and cooking and I started to wonder why all of his neighbors were would give me "the evil eye". Come to find out, he was telling everyone that I beat him up, stole his money, and starved him. One day, his brother and his brothers wife came over and chewed me out right in front of him. I couldn't believe that he was saying all of this when I was practically his personal slave and was sweet as pie to him, never mistreating him in the slightest. Everyone that knew him for years just believed that he was telling the truth. As months past, it became more and more clear that something was wrong with uncle. He was taken to see the doctor and at first was diagnosed with alzheimers. Then he started to yell at other people for no reason and return in the room and act like nothing had happened. We took him back to the doctor and they performed a brain scan. He did not have alzheimers , but rather dementia ( meaning slowly going insane ), similar to alzheimers. After that, I never did get the apology for being falsely accused, but I think everyone then had to think that, maybe this wasn't true what he was saying.
Hopefully, even in some small way, you will be vindicated from these accusations.

Thankyou for sharing your story. I'm glad that you seem to have grown from this experience and moved on (literally). I like what you said- sometimes people want to believe the lies. I feel like I've been chasing my tail in a circle trying to prove that I'm not the person they say I am.
I think the easy part is staying away from them. The hard part is still feeling a part of you is missing. But it's alot easier dealing with that then dealing with them.
One thing that is really inspiring is hearing all of the people of this forum say that they are healed after something like this happening to them as well. I think I'm really starting to like the sound of moving to a warmer climate. I need the sunny days and blue skies!

Tonight on the national geographic channel at 9pm eastern time is a really good program about scientific fossils finding a new human species!! It's on right now so I'll check ya later.

Funny story-
When I was a kid, my family and I went to an elders house for a pool "party". This elder invited some people over that he was studing with for about a year. I sat down near the adults in excitement about the conversation. Out of the blue, I said " How hard is it, to have to give up celebrating holidays, since you were raised with holidays?" They're mouths dropped in shock and immediately started asking what I was talking about. Later my parents were called into a meeting and the elders said that I had cost them this family that would have converted. I guess their blood is now on my shoulders!!! HA HA HA
I got in trouble, but I remember feeling good that at least I was honest.
