hey all, just posting this again as i cant seem to find it.
i had the weirdest dream the other night i was goin to the memorial(which i did not attend in reality) and there was an elder there from my old cong who recently passed away in real life a couple of months ago.
his ghost was standing at the door and only i could see him, he followed me around the whole kingdom hall.
I pulled out my handy dandy encyclopedia of dreams. It says that seeing a ghost and having no fear of it means- will pull through difficulties that others will not notice.
Can't say exactly what your dream means, but know that their version of an afterlife means not having a soul. So that's weird that you were the only one that saw that he did have a soul. If you see him in your dream again, ask him what he wants? Then get the hell out of that kingdom hall!!! hahahah

this has always puzzled me...when discussing the parable of the talents in matt 25...the one with 5 made 5 more and the one with 2 made 2 more but the one with 1 buries his and is called a wicked and sluggish slave as a result.
but what is his reason for burying the talent...according to the account it is becausefinally the one that had received the one talent came forward and said, ?master, i knew you to be an exacting man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you did not winnow.

it was southern calif. about 1969. i was 20 years old.
Me and another girl went to this door where this woman was supposed to be deaf, but could read lips. So it took an extra long time saying things really slowly. We were talking at her door for about 20 min. when the other girl fainted right onto my left shoulder and I almost fell. The woman came out with water and candy as I tried to revive her. Afterwards, her mom yelled at her in the van for fainting. I saw that woman a couple of months later and she was working at McDonald's, she heard everyone behind her. So I'm sure she had a good laugh at me trying to explain things very slowly mouthing the words really big. Geesh!
since my last post i found out that my wife lied to get a "vow of faithfullness with another man.
in march of 2004 she asked me to sign an agreement document to give to a lawyer in order to get our marriage annulled.
i agreed only on her promise not to give it to the congregation to be with another man but only for her lawyer.
Why would you want someone like that back? Let it go. People like that always get what's coming to them and why would you want to surround yourself with that bad karma coming her way. Stay as far away as possible from her. Have you heard that saying? - The best revenge is living a good life. Having all of this anger is going to eat you up inside, try to realize that everybody in this world gets their heart broken at least once.
okay, i know this is personal, but i kind of like the annoninimity of the board versus asking my friends who are all also friends with my husband.. my husband went out of the country with a group from work this weekend.
i was supposed to go but had to cancel due to other stuff.
it turned out only 4 ended up going, my husband, a guy, and two women.
Any man with common sense, is going to know that sleeping with another woman in a hotel room is not going to be ok to do. Even if the situation turned out to be exactly as they say it happened- Why put yourself in that position? If he truely is honest about this than one of them would have slept on the floor and they also would have woken up way before 10am.
Ask yourself a few questions- Are your husband and you that poor that he would jeopardize his marriage to save on hotel cost? After finding out how upset you are over this situation, are they going to continue to sleep next to each other? Why did he find this acceptable behavior, what justified this? Were they drinking the night before? Are they around the same age or type to each other? What are your instincts telling you? How long have you been married? What is his track record like?
