Songs that are atmospheric
by FlyingHighNow inthis is a song thread that will take a little thought.
i'd like for you to share songs that sound atmospheric and conjure up feelings of night air or a smokey room, the energy of the ocean's roar or capture the joy of a party or celebration.
the songs can be transportive and take you other places by their sound and the visuals they evoke from the stories they tell.. my first one is from tim mcgraw.

What a shame - but fortunate for the org
by Mickey mouse inas referred to in this thread, ray franz's book crisis of conscience, arguably the most important book for ex jws to read - has been out of print for months but is available from amazon at $100+.. internet explorer, probably the most commonly used internet browser - is not compatible with this website.. most young jws probably access the internet via a smartphone but good luck trying to post to this website on one.. .

They are losing them...
by Aussie Oz inthe teenagers.. via my teens i hear of plenty of baptized teens who are waaaaaaayyyyyyy left of centre.. alcohol, sex, and parties are going to claim a lot more than 'higher education' i reckon.. up yours watchtower.
your youth don't think you are relevant.. oz.

Yes they are losing them, but it's interesting how many I see going back. Maybe they need the networking, maybe their parents are getting older and are pleading with them to come back, financial reasons.. If there is any growth, I wonder what percentage of that growth is/are "reverts".

Ehh, you don't need to do that kind of research, just read what is on this forum. Take our word for it.

Now that Rick is gone......
by outsmartthesystem indo you think there is any chance we can get 20571pnt428571......8675309....r2d2....10-4 over and out to quit bombarding the message boards with ridiculous apocolpytic fortune telling?

I understand Randy, and I wasn't seeing it as an attack. Not really your style on this forum. When I read outsmart's comment, I didn't see the idea of a unified group as a replacement being promoted, just that he basically doesn't want to be lumped in with the perceived whacky apostate hoard. More of an "All individuals, that come to their own conclusions" group, with that being their commonality. Anything but a unified replacement.
Ah hah! Now I read outsmart's response..oh well.

While I may not like Rick's style, we are not a replacement organization that tries to create an image of a united front. I see this all the time on the board. No offense, but I think that people coming out should learn to live in the real world and realize that once you are freed from mind control, why should we use the very same lie that the WT uses, that they are all in unity in belief?
Randy, was this portion of your post (a good post by the way) directed toward outsmart's comment?
