I'm always careful to NOT comment on my weird JW friend facebook postings. They say some very whacky things, and I don't want my non JW facebook friends to see it.

by Kensho inspecial assembly day (sad) bethel speaker ( a very good speaker i might add) in his talk " follow your spirit-directed conscience gave example of and elder and his family.
he noticed his wife and daughter spending a lot of time morning noon and night on facebook, it almost seemed like that is all they did, so as a spiritual head decided to see what they were constantly looking at, "let me see what you are spending so much time looking at on facebook said the elder".
the wife explained this is how we keep in contact with the "friends", elder started to look at her page and she was correct, there he found friends in the cong.

Public Apology Nathan Natas
by Simon ini'd like to offer a public apology to nathan natas for making a wrong decision when i deleted him.. i allowed a combination of previous issues we'd had and input from other forum members to bias my decision which lead me to what i now, in hindsight, believe to have been a mistake.. whether you want to come back and post here or not i wanted to at least say sorry and will reactivate your account..

July 15th Study Edition Is Up..
by confusedteenager innot sure if anyone mentioned this yet, but yeah.
they just posted up the new watchtower...with the confusing new information.. time for me to go dive into this "new light" and try to see what sense it makes.
of course cedars already nicely did a run down for us.. .

I think a couple of other "truths" that the Org has now that Russell spread are that "Jehovah is God" and "Jesus is his Son". Maybe no "Hell Fire".

Slavenomore, I'm glad you brought this album up. (Plastic Ono). I have to say that this one is at or near the top of my list too. If folks haven't heard it, they should make the effort. I believe it goes a long way toward explaining the hold Lennon had on so many. More than just Beatles and "Imagine".

It sounds like the "death not being the end of it all" theme is part of the ongoing program to prepare generation 5 for the passing of generation 4. I hope it was upbuilding.
