  I am finally back...

  ... i've been away for a while (actually 3/4 of a year) without posting.. besides saying hi, i wanted to gradually get to speed in everything going on jw land.. in the last year, what are the relevant news, blunders and scandals coming out of the wtbts?.

  in the may wt questions from readers they did away with the 1935 cut off date to be part of the original anointed class.

  they taught any anointed after that date were replacements for those who had "fallen away".

  over the years that doctrine has slowly fallen apart.

  yes, tomorrow, our small city of about 100,000(small city outside of vancouver,canada ) has about 10 acts coming here.

  with snoop dog being one of the big draws.

  How The Organization Hooks You With "Privileges"

  right from the beginning, you are bombarded with others telling you what a "privilege" it is to "be used" in the organization.

  especially if you're a male, it is easy to get hooked by the elder's lines.....for example, a male is given the "privilege" of "handling the microphones" if they put in enough time in the ministry and they aren't setting a bad example.

  if you're "faithful in what is least", greater privileges await you.

  In small congregations women are allowed to handle "priveleges" when no qualified brothers are there. It is odd to see a sister handling a microphone or even saying a prayer!

  Kind of reminds me of stand the WTS takes on blood. Depends on the situation!!!
