Would the W.T. be open for massive lawsuits if they changed blood policy?
by hubert ini was just thinking of this, because of my last post topic.
if the watchtower changed their no blood policy to accepting whole blood, would and could that .
open the flood gates for law suits from jdubs that sacrificed their children for the tower, or would .

calling all young single men
by devinsmom inwew, well my divorce is finally...final, as of today and what a long hard road it has been, and unfortunatly more hardships are to come, since we have a child together.
my ex tried to delay it just yesterday by faxing a sloppy handwritten note to the judge, to tell him he couldnt make it because he doesnt have a license,(suspended for dwi) and hasnt attended any of the hearings at all.
he owes me over $5,000 for child support (deadbeat dad).

Ruined marriages
by greendawn ini just wish to know does the wts have a deliberate policy of splitting married couples if one of the spouses leaves the org even if adultery is not involved?
do they at least indirectly encourage this to happen?
and if yes is this a fairly recent policy?

the other thing to consider is that when one partner is disfellowshipped the other can have no spiritual association with them..no wt study no meeting prep no praying not for meals or anything else not even allowed to read the bible together...so the 'believing' partner who may well be the innocent victim in the case of adultery has to abide by the decision of the jc who may well have made the wrong decision as to the wrongdoers lack of repentance...it is an anomally that the greater your faith in the wts the more you are likely to abide by the rules and the less likely your marraige will survive even if both parties are in agreement as to being prepared to attempt a reconciliation..without those rules it may well be that both or either party is prepared to forgive and forget and move on and the marriage can survive

I'm going to Bethel... Wanna Come?
by RichieRich inso my mother suprised me about a week ago by telling me we are going on a bus trip to bethel from april 13-17. for those of you who aren't used to this concept, american dubs seem to think that packing themselves on the bus with 60 other witnesses and driving for 4 days is somehow going to strengthen themselves spiritually.
well, i doubt that will work for me.
i was just wondering, is there anything i should look for/ be on the alert for?
