i want so bad to know what to believe... i don't believe that the 'truth' is the one true religion anymore, but i don't know what to believe anymore when it comes to certain things... what happens to you after you die, etc.

people are not disfellowshipped because of the actual sin, they are.

the november 15 2006 wt para 3 page 27 says

"disfellowshipping takes place only if a member of the congregation unrepentantly engages in gross sin" (italics their's)

this is a lie - and the writers, proofreaders, gb members who okayed this, cos, dos, and all congregation elders know it.

and i bet not one of them had the guts to say so when this was discussed.

i too thought richard handled it well...was pretty fair all round - even checking the exjw by pointing out that her decision not to have blood was what she believed to be correct at the time.

i just dont get why they are so afraid to say yes that is what we teach, that's what the bible says, that's what god says and we are proud to uphold it. thats what i used to say as a witness cos i was proud. he was acting as if he is ahamed of his belief

(guess that's why i was not invited to be on the liaison or public relations commitees lol)
