  Dad was a rocket scientist

  well i think he was big in stress and tensions etc....went to quebec...took the 2nd best watchtower..other daughter married a bethel boy and they then got invited to tour bethels to set up language instruction.

  a painter and decorator who received a 30 fine for smoking in his own van has warned that british civil liberties are "going up in smoke".. .

  in the 1970's i was a teenager.

  i wasn't that big into disco- although i enjoyed kc and the sunshine band as well as earth, wind, and fire.

  but my really big love in music was always rock n' roll, blues , stuff like that !

  at the football stadium where i work no pass-outs are allowed..this is not too big a demand to make to the majority of folk who only come for the 2 hours the game is played.

  but where i work in corparate hospitality they come 3 hours before the game and stay for a couple of hours after. so it is hypocrisy for the government to make money off tobacco and to tacitly go along with the addiction to nicotine and then to stop smokers from having anywhere to smoke for 7 / 8 hours. this is not a civil liberties violation. they are free to leave whenever they wish if they want to smoke. they just wont be allowed back in - despite paying hundreds of dollars for their day ticket or thousands for a season.

  so yes that is unfair..

  but it is not a crock of bull to protect non smokers from second hand smoke.

  1 - "well, everyone is going to die anyway, so if it at armageddon then ce la vie" 2 - "the disater today at the world trade centre is sad, but exciting" 3 - (an elder) "when armageddon happens, i want to be at a window, watching it all".

  suicide and explosion at Kingdom Hall on Sat. July 27

  a bizarre explosion at a church east of kansas city killed one man on saturday afternoon.

  atf agents said the explosion at the jehovah's witness' kingdom hall on foggy bottom drive was intentionally set, and that the person who died appears to have committed suicide.

  witnesses described large amounts of smoke pouring out of the building, which they said was just recently completed.

  Very true....and very sad....

  not very true...

  could have smashed the door in and been in a hurry to set a fire cos he knew someone would be coming..as a result set light to himself.

  i love musicals - and im not even gay.. phantom, les mis, miss saigon, evita, aspects of love, .

  and songs like you'll never walk alone, old man river, papa can you hear me/a peice of sky, choke me up every time.. but my favourite is chess...music by the boys from abba .. and one particular song is right out of the pink floyd songbook musically and lyrically (including a gilmouresque solo - and rumoured to be played by him) - pity the child.

  (this is especially ironic since roger waters has a particularly dismissive lyric about lloyd webber on his amused to death cd..and yet his own opera ca ira is not so far removed)

  not that i care...so long as they both/all continue to make great music then i will be happy/sad/elated/depressed just as intended.

  yes much better thanx...

  when i was trying for reeinstatement i was asked what evidence of repentance could i show.

  i said well i havent burnt down the kingdom hall - surely thats gotta count for something.

  apparently it didnt.
