  ok, today i was invited to go my favorite local radio station (94.7 sacramento) and record some stuff about my favorite playlist.

  i had submitted this list about a month ago and got the call on monday to come on down to the radio station.

  i took my hubby, got to meet the dj (a very cool and nice guy indeed) and just had a very nice time.

  in my previous post i mentioned that i'm staying in the org because i think i got a sign from god...some of you asked a lot of questions about my sign and even shared the society's view on asking for signs which i didn't know.. i didn't disclose exactly what the sign was.. some of you asked me what it was and even stated that i know that you all would pick apart and prove that my sign was just a frivolous excuse to hold on to the org.. maybe you were right.. so i've decided to tell you all exactly what it was---no embellishments or exaggerations.

  i would love to hear your opinions since i'm still in a terrible mess.sometimes i'm 100% this is not the truth then other times i'm 60%....i feel if god was giving me a sign i'd be 100% this is the truth you know?.

  so i woke up that morning and organized to go meeting.

  thinking about the number of atheist v ag/tec/fhn/sab threads (hehe - i'm only yanking your chains!

  ) and i thought i should make an effort to look at and discuss the rest of the rainbow.

  atheism does not define my influencing primary worldview though you'd be hard pressed to see that from my posts.. i'd be interested in what philosphy , idea, rule(s) most influence you and why - why do you feel they are superior, what do they make you value more or less , what would you be without your philosophy.

  Optics are expensive. I deal with lensing for projectors/video cameras and the costs can be huge, especially for specialty glass. However you're dealing with a precision instrument with fine tolerances, so yea...

  Not a shooter of stills but I do enjoy good composition in a shot. There's definitely an art to it.

  Aren't online JW apologists through their actions technically considered apostates in the WTS' eyes?

  Couldn't say, but there's always the chance of reason and facts overcoming belief. Every x goes thru an apologetic phase.

  I don't consider myself an apostate or identify as one (though technically the dictionary definition applies)

  The only people who would consider me such are the JWs and I stopped caring what they thought a long time ago.

  sorry folks, i know the "candace conti case" is where all our time attention should be for now.

  i just had this much less important issue on my heart and wanted to make a quick note of it, as i am struggling with remembering all the details as clearly afterward.. although i am a non-religious believer and simple follower of jesus, i have had some constructive interaction with atheists and agnostics on jwn.

  i do enjoy learning more about their perspective.
