The idea of intelligent design was comforting as a newly exited dub back in the day, no argument there. Lacking any such resource and interaction such as this board affords was a luxury I didn't have. Slow progression was the plan lest I fall into the abyss, as I was witness to another ex witness fall hard and fast. I preferred to sit on the edge and differentiate shades of black,....lol

When I left many years ago, I cut loose in a lot of ways, one being opening myself up to meeting and talking to just about anybody about anything. So hungry for new experiances, both my own and others. Had a rather eclectic group of friends from different crowds and revelled in the differences and associations that were until then forbidden (or at least hidden from dub view) Of course, being raised a dub brought a certain naivety about people as well and learned some hard lessons. But overall, there are no regrets. I became and still am the kind to dive right in, especially when I have that old dub instilled fear. However, these days I find I've retreated somewhat and have become a little more cautious with people.
so at long last i've converted my childhood friend from being an apologist to being a near apostate.
lemme tell you how that happened.
this guy and i debate almost daily the virtues of being one of "jehovah's people.

The seats are broken as you know. We'll get right on that; one should be comfortable while driving.
The steering may need a little adjustment; seems to have been drifting awhile.
The rear view mirror looks like it could use some adjustment. Can you see the things behind you clearly?
The door locks seem to be sticking a bit; is it difficult to open the doors, especially when it's been cold? May need adjustment.
It's got a few miles on it (not too many,..) so it's been "roadtested" a little, which is good. Works some of the initial glitches out, makes the components work better together.
The engine sounds good. It's got some power and the drivetrain works fine; it brought you here, no?
We have to put a new clutch in so the shifting may take a little getting used to, but it'll be better than before.
Oh yea, the radio. Don't be afraid to crank it up and sing along. And of course, if you don't like the station you're on, just change the channel.
How bout some tint for the windows? Make ya feel brand new,...

i've been reading here for the past few weeks, but have visited from time to time over several years.. short history, i started studying in 1993, was baptised in 1996, and succinctly and with much planning disassociated myself in october, 2003.. i don't believe i have any lasting psychological damage or issues, but i was curious about the state of the wtbts (or whatever they go by these days), and i found your site and a lot of information that, i have to say, i found shocking at first like - oh my goddess, they really did that?

Were you here in '97 for the "flood of the century"? That was the last year I recall some serious snow here. The winters since have been rather mild compared to what I recall overall, this past winter being no winter at all.
When I was in Montreal in '89, I recall the most bitter wind, the cause likely being close to large bodies of water. But WPG has the second largest range of temp swing in the world, next to somewhere in Russia as I recall. The wind is nasty, no argument there. Makes you feel warm blooded,...lol.

I did some trance work with the aid of a witch a long time ago. Very interesting stuff. Crows figured prominently then thought it wasn't a quest for a spirit guide per se.
It's funny. Today I saw a monarch butterfly whilst I was pondering recent events. I haven't seen one in many years. Strange these coincidences if you inclined to read into them.
