Yea, but it's subjective. How extreme are we talking bout here?

i know that i am enjoying some of the things i would've gotten involved with had i not been raised in the "truth".

the reverend down the street has made friends with my son ...... yesterday we came down hard on our 18 yr old son because he has not gotten a job since graduation , and can not pay for his share of the cell phone or car insurance .
so we took these privileges away until he can pay .
well he must of went over to the rev's last night and the guy offered to give him $100.
For what it's worth,...
Someone once told me that not everyone who s**** on you is your enemy.
Not everyone who does something good for you is your friend.
The hard part is figuring out which is which sometimes
Trust is a hard one sometimes,...
john 20:30-31
30 to be sure, jesus performed many other signs also before the disciples, which are not written down in this scroll.
31 but these have been written down that you may believe that jesus is the christ the son of god, and that, because of believing, you may have life by means of his name.
No, I don't think anything is that simple anymore,...
that despite my sincere efforts of sincerity and honesty that most who interacted with me were rather uptight and rude.
i really dont understand it.
forgive my babbling.
Welcome agape
Try not to take so personally. It's a complicated subject you know,.....
the mind is full of all kinds of things that can trigger memories.
it could be the taste of a certain spice that reminds you of a now passed relative who liked to cook.
it could be the smell of a perfume or cologne, that reminds you of a lover you once could not live without.
Following what other people say is best,.......
bad associations spoil useful habits.
i freakin killed 4 posts in a sitting.
damn!
broken arrows are better,.....
if you wanted to fade or disappear, and you said you were moving into a new territory,( or country) for your cards to be sent to a fake secretary ?
would it be possible to give them the name and address of someone you trusted and then you could keep them, there would be no record of you in the old hall or any other?
has anyone done this and succeeded ?
:-)
Very easy. It all depends on how afraid you are of gettting caught. And how inventive you are.
At some point the charade has to end, you know. This depends on what you have to lose and what price you will pay for it.

maybe the same people who post on this board and tell us to just get over it.
i get so tired of them dismissing our experiences and trauma by saying "why do you have to tear jehovah's organization down?
just get over it and move on!".
A controversial statement and subject to say the least,....
Speaking on the subject line, I attended a speech by a fireman of the 911 crisis a couple years ago. He had a rather moving picture slideshow of the event and spoke on his experience as a survivor. Of course there were political and social points that he had made but the point that stuck with me was how as much as he gained from sharing his experinence, he felt that every time he related it, he was reliving it all over. He said that what he had done was enough and that he had appreciated it but that it was time to move on with his life. It struck a chord in a sense.
Perhaps it's apples and oranges but then again, i didn't post the topic,....
since i have a rather morbid sense of humor, and none of us is going to see armageddon................................ what would you like to be written on your tombstone?
i'll start.. "buried face down...........and you know the rest".
"his last word were..............boy, i'm getting hot!".
"What r u lookin' at?"
;-)
.
richie used to make me laugh, and i don't always get a chance to peek at the board every week.. is richie still around?
