Yea, quite the stir and goings on. It doesn't interest me in the least really and I feel like an outsider among outsiders, lol. No biggie.

A truly mind boggling experience
by Iamallcool ini dated someone earlier tonight and she looks pretty good, she invited me over to her home.
she has a very good salary(she has phd degree) but i do not understand why she chose to live in a white trash mobile home park.
i asked her how long she is going to live there, she said she just signed 2 year lease last month.

My younger brother played football and he was good at it. Had an article in the paper about him. Too bad his knee was taken out before the big chance. He had to lie to the dub parents about it apparently.
I ran. Long before joining the track club in high school. I jogged to clear my mind and work the system but I liked fast. 100m was my thing, some 200m. Flat out, focused energy, maximize body physics, etc. The folks knew I ran coz I jogged as well and I told them I was lifting weights after school, which I was anyway. So a fairly easy white lie :) But I liked the rush of competition. Damn, some guys were fast; I thought I was the king of speed in the hood...

Have You Ever Gone To Meetings While Under The Influence Of Booze Or Drugs?
by minimus ini had an italian elder friend that regularly drank his wine (daily) and it was obvious that on some thursday or tuesday evenings, he was clearly under the influence of alcohol.
quite often, we would have a 3:00 sunday afternoon elder's meeting and once again, i could tell he had been drinking.. nobody ever brought it up but i knew him well and he loved his vino and martinis!.
we had a number of people on meds that would either act like zombies at the meetings or cry or get aggressive.

Simple answer, please! Scientifically explain the origin of life coming from nothing!
by Silent_Scream inscientific method asserts nothing living can come from something non-living.
science is observable, science is reproducible.
a living thing coming from non-living matter has never been observed nor reproduced.. therefore, it takes faith in an unknown process to believe that that's exactly what happened in the beginning, with no evidence!.

But I never claimed that life came from nothing---so why would I have to prove that? I claimed I don't know how life originated, and that I can prove. It is you who keep insisting that I claim life came from nothing---therefore it is a strawman argument. When I make the claim that life came from nothing, you can ask me to prove it.
