Sign that God doesnt care about us? (not for the squeemish).
by Dune ini was surfing around the other day and came across a guy citing the existence of the guinea worm as a sign that god really doesnt care about us.. the guinea worm is a parasitic organism that is eaten by water fleas.. they in turn, are consumed by human beings from contaminated water.
the stomach acids kill the water flea and the parasite is released into the human intestine.. the parasite grows and within a year it potrudes out of the skin so it can release eggs.
(at this point it can get up to 3 feet in length).. the parasite is extremely difficult to remove and the only effective method is to wrap the potruding portions around a stick and pull it out an inch at a time for several weeks.

you sought comfort in her arms, were soothed by her normalacy, and is a wiff of fresh air to you.
but if you, like so many others, a 2nd or 3rd gen witnesses, it's a struggle, especially if you believe the dogma and have family in it , and the hold it has on you in your mind it's extreme.

Two Number 4s, and a large Cup of...

last saturday, a very large tree fell right square on their house.
no one was harmed, but it definitely hurt their wallets.

yikes, that talk outline gave me flashbacks ...
I always did crap like that too -- some stupid "illustration" to open things off.
Actually, the HARDEST talk I ever gave was a bible reading from 1 Chronicles. It was verse after verse of ".. and Jeho-chin begot Ezakiah, who begot Joab, Moab, and Doab, who begot...". More people commented on how I acually sounded better than the guy on the tape. -

The "fight song" is Kingdom Melodies #191: "Make the Truth Your Own". The alma mater is Song 8: "Loyal Submission, in recognition, this to our god we owe." LOL.
At one end of their stadium, they have a 40 ft mural of Touchdown Jaracz. (lol). -
