for those of you who are interested, the project i've been working on for the last few months is finally finished.

it seems that alot of us still have family members in the religion and have not infrequent arguments with them about some of the beliefs and practices.
Mary.....THANKS so much for all your hard work....you've really outdone yourself on this project my dear. I can't wait to see the look on my mother's face when I discuss the info in this booklet with her !!! I'm not going to give it to her...there's too much blood sweat and tears went into it, just to have her chuck it in the trashbin!!!

I especially love the flowers that my man takes the time to stop and pick by the roadside. It means so much to me!! I also like when he goes into the yard and makes a bouquet of flowers and branches from our gardens...
...and when he sprinkles rose petals on our bed and spells out, "I love you".....

I noticed countless times at the meetings and conventions that single mothers frequently gave children the worst beatings. I believe that single mothers are under enormous pressure to not only raise children on their own, but they get very little help; if any from anyone at the conventions
I was a single mother, and I can tell you, that I NEVER gave my daughter a beating. EVER!! You may have witnessed other single mom's doing this, but it was not I.... I raised my child alone until she was six, and while it was a bit on the difficult side, I did it on my own, with no help from anyone in the congregation, and I was not an angry nor bitter mom. Assemblies were a bit tough, but it was something I had to do....and did it...I just spent more time in the mother's room..
The worst beating I ever witnessed, was from a father, who needed the elders to intervene and take the child away....it was during a Sunday meeting, and the entire congregation just cried...it was Horrific!!! That little girl suffered terribly until her mother finally got the courage to leave...
I think it has to do with each person individually, and how much self control they (Don't) have....
one day after a sunday meeting, 2 elders got into it with each other and started screaming at one another in the back of the hall just as service arrangements were being made.
of course, the boe counseled them strongly but the result was that the congregation lost respect for the whole body.

i have a friend that is very close to me.
she and i raised our kids almost like brother and sister.
her daughter became involved with a person that she decided to marry.
I'm very sorry Country Girl...this is terrible news..... My thoughts are with you, and Jeff's family and friends.

russia or china i'm guessing but that would be a logical choice.. this is my opinion but i think with the united states getting involved in territories that are under control of russia and china is reaching a boiling point and eventually somone is gonna say i have had it i'm not taking this anymore.. i read this also that in a chinese proverb they have a sayin "kill the chicken to frighten the monkey" the chinese beleive the attack on iraq was the chicken and they are the monkey.. now i'm hearing they are or may blockade iran.
if this happens it could be the final straw but maybe not but i think very soon we will see the knig of the north rise up in defiance to the united states.. let me know what you think please!.

I should say, that I agree with Stilla... I had a good conversation with my family physician about this, just out of the blue...he and his colleagues think China will be a force to be reckoned with.

I remember when I was young, being told the King of the North was Russia..................but I think it is China...
