i'm really ready for a change.
my hair has been the same for two years now and i just want something different.
i would do it pink or whatever but i have an appointment with my hair cutter person (1 mile from my house) -- not my crazy color person (who is two hours away) .... this one has colored my hair twice and does a great job but she is just not one to do crazy off the wall things.

interesting............. Rene, I know you said your funky hair colorist lives 2 hours away. But, I'd stay with what you have already, and punch it up with some caramel foils and some darker red, or red-brown foils.
OR....have the underneath parts dyed chocolate brown, and have the caramel foils and some cinnamon foils done through-out the top layers.
i was leaving to go have my finger prints done when i seen a nice long red scratch from the back door to the rear bumper of my car.
it looks like she basically drove onto my car because it's scratched the alloy wheels.
there is black tire on the rims of my tire with red in the mix.

I don't envy you, having to confront her and try to get her insurance info. Good luck with that. I hate people like that. They have no respect for anyone.
i have been coming to this site to read news and your stories for about a year now, but have never posted due to my mortal fear of somehow being found out... i have family in as most of you do, who are all very sincerely convinced that they are on the path of light.. i have never been happy with the beliefs, mainly the doublespeak on the status of women, the hypocrisy, the dramatisation of the smallest of matters, and the general guilt trip that was my life until i stumbled across some hard evidence that my suspicions about 'gods channel' were well founded.
unfortunately i am now addicted to turning over every piece of information i can find, there seems to be no end to the amount of $#*& below the surface.
i will probably remain in this state for awhile, hungrily devouring all the information that makes me feel validated for my stand against much of the mindless rubbish that has gone around me during my life as a jw.

Breaking Free, I too, would avoid the visit. And if you can't, I wouldn't say anything about being stumbled. I remember being told by an elder once, that a person cannot be stumbled, unless he's allowed himself to be....
I think it would just add to your frustrations, and you might end up spewing all you know, at once, before you are prepared to do so. But it's your call, of course.

Nope, I've never been able to lie.
i've noticed a disturbing trend where 90% of guys don't wash their hands after using the restroom, and probably 25% don't even after number two'ing.
encouragingly, about 80% of the guys in law school do wash their hands.
(i know it's weird, but i count) .
