This is typical of the "works based" faiths. Look at what JESUS DID for us. He ENDURED this....yadda, yadda, yadda....

These are usually the same folks that forget what Jesus TAUGHT. They sit in judgement over all, and clearly miss Jesus' entire point.

in case anyone is wondering about our registration policy:.

i don't intend to turn people away who want to register and post or make ultra-strict registration procedures because i honestly don't think that they work.

if i were to ask for names of congregations or presiding overseers then i have no real way of checking if they are correct.

Heads-up on two sure-cures for colds, flu, viruses, etc.

i've seen so many of yall suffering with colds, flu, viruses, etc.....well....either yall or yall's family members.

and it's kinda frustrating to sit back, knowing what i know and have experienced as cures for me and my family members, so that we don't get sick from these things anymore.

it isn't ethical to advise yall to use these treatments, so i'll just let yall know what has worked for us and let yall use your own judgment on whether to try these methods.

i just joined here so i'm not completely familiar with the forum code.

well, i'm going to be baptized in less than a month and i was wondering if i can find any friends among my peers or anyone around my age.

you see, my congregation was split up almost three years ago.

Anm....well you should follow your heart and do what you think is right. But make sure it's what you want not what you feel others want you to do. I got baptised young. I did it because I thought that's what was expected. So if it's what you want do it...if not...hold off.

But one thing you should always take with you regardless of what you do in life is to "Examine all things" as the bible says.

I've actually met Katie on a couple of occasions...she seems pretty nice.

What two other people decide to do....good for them....I wish them the best. Marriage is hard enough...but add in the constant paparazzi, fame, and fortune. Very hard. Best of luck.

i dont know if anyone else noticed this but on june 14th a friend in need was silenced from kwins post "it took only 13 hrs...." for being a pain.

i just noticed a new member that goes by the name of dennis joined on june 15th and is spitting the same pro-jw stuff that afin was.

so it appears our friend has evolved.

Personally....I like these folks coming on JWD. Their arguments have to make any JW lurker just cringe. But they have a right to be here and a right to say what they want assuming they are living up to the rules set up by the forum posting guidelines. And we have a right to refute the trash they usually spout.

Remember, we have the advantage. They cannot win with solid facts, or statistics, or even biblical understanding. There is a certain thread that has been going on for 30+ pages now about 607 / 587....it certainly is clear which particular poster is from Dub Crazyland. Any lurker would have to shake his/her head at that kind of head in the sand reasoning.

It usually doesn't take a troll more than about 15 posts before their gig is figured out.
