I doubt he will go...as all Dubs are told that it is ok for others to come to the KH to see a meeting, but they do not need nor should go to another's church...after all they have "the truth" !!!!
Also...you may want to "agree to ground rules" before he visits on discussing what makes you NOT believe. Maybe make him promise you that HE WILL RESEARCH your complaints. AND MUST answer them and CONSIDER them, not just blindly spout WTBS. In exchange even though you have a liteny of issues with the WTBS you will limit it to the top 3 reasons. That's not asking too much is it? 3 major problems with the faith. Stick to what cannot be refuted. Make him get copies of old Golden Age magazines from 1919. Or how immunizations were "the pus of Satan". Go to the library and pull 15 encyclopedias, concordences, history books, etc down and show him that Jerusalem fell in 586/587 NOT 607.

What do you miss most about being in the truth ?

I miss hating myself.
I miss crying myself to sleep thinking God didn't love me and I would die in Armegeddon.
I miss feeling worthless because God wouldn't fix me for being gay even though I prayed every day, went to all the meetings, aux. pioneered, studied for all the meetings, and fought my natural urges.
I miss the double dealing ways of the elders and elderettes.
I miss the guilt that was heaped on my head meeting after meeting after meeting.
I miss innuendo campaigns from the podium..."marking" me for all other Dubs to know, without really saying my name.
I miss the elder room talks about stumbling others because of minor things I did. (Having too much fun in field service, attending other KH's with my friends rather than my own, driving a 2 door car, sitting in the same seats for all the meetings instead of moving around, etc...etc.)
I miss "waiting on Jehoba".
I miss "new light".
I miss the looks of people staring down their noses at me.
I miss the fact that when I'd show up for a meeting after missing one or two I'd get the "Oh, we missed you so much" fakeness that really implied, "We were here, we noticed YOU weren't....aren't WE better Christians".
I miss the need to suffer to serve a false god.
I miss the backass ways of the Dubs. -

So if they had 1,022,397....simply keeping up with population trends due to births....you would need 1,033,643 to stay even % wise of total population.
So in reality 1,041,030 - 1,033,643 = 7,387 new ones (net).
The average publisher hours per month is what 10 hours roughly? 1,022,397 x 120 hours = 122,687,640 hours / 7,387 new ones = 16,609 hours needed on average to add one new person to the KingDumb Hall. Thats about 8 years of full time (40 hour weeks) for each new one.
Hmmm.....such an enticing message that it takes 8 years of full time work convincing someone to join. -

Social Skills..... or lack thereof

i have become so scared of rejection ( i wonder why?
) that i only let people get so close and only reveal select personal information after literally years of knowing someone.sometimes when i'm out in public and see someone i know, if they haven't seen me yet i will try and avoid them.

haven't they been painted into a bit of a corner where, if they tried to adjust things on blood now, everyone would come down on them like a ton of bricks?
if apostates were not so vigilant in watching the witnesses' every move, perhaps the governing body would have tried to drop the dubious doctrines by the back door, like so many others that they have discarded when they did not feel to closely watched (organ transplants, for example).

You don't call in an unlicensed plumber to fix a toilet. You don't have your friend Ted do brain surgery. You don't have your cousin Bill represent you in court. YOU SHOULDN'T seek advice from an untrained clergy / mental help professional. Similarly....you don't have a car salesmen advise you on your retirement savings. Nor do you consult your banker for a decision on where to go on vacation.

(the japanese became 'peace-fanatics' after ww2, and seem to feel that suffering an atomic bomb absolved them of all their many offenses in ww2.

To be fair (I'm married to a Korean) Koreans are demonized as bad guys throughout Asian history. If you watch any Hong Kong or Japanese Kung Fu / Samuri films a Korean always plays the bad guy. The Chinese, Koreans, and Japanese have NEVER gotten along in modern history. They are all hyper-competitive commercially and are vying to be the political tiger they all want to be. Korea has been overrun by both the Japanese and Chinese and been made slaves....so some of their ill will is well founded.
