  i've just found on facebook the girl who was my best friend when we were 16. she was disfellowshipped and has spent the last 18 years between here and hell, which is what will happen when your parents kick you onto the street at age 16. .

  i messaged her, begged her to forgive me for being a part of that.

  ... you'll regain contact with an old beloved friend. I've just found on Facebook the girl who was my best friend when we were 16. She was disfellowshipped and has spent the last 18 years between here and hell, which is what will happen when your parents kick you onto the street at age 16.

  I messaged her, begged her to forgive me for being a part of that. She was just stunned and delighted to hear from me. We talked for hours, so much to catch up on; total strangers who knew each other so well. It's awesome.

  Do they still go ahead and disfellowship if you threaten them back?

  supposing local elders were to approach me with a view to a 'judicial committee' and subsequent disfellowshipping.

  law # 1 i believe everything the 'society' says.. law # 2 i also believe everything the 'society' has ever said in the past even when it contradicts law # 1.. law # 3 i also believe everything the 'society' will ever say in the future even when it contradicts law # 1 and law # 2. law # 0 (zeroth law) i believe law # 1, 2 and 3 all at the same time.. please don't disfellowship me.. .

  if you carry out this action i will take it upon myself to make the local jw's life uncomfortable.

  i just recived an e-mail from an active jw friend of mine, he was replying to the utube e-mail i sent him on the molestation cover ups.

  he knows the jw are shite, but he's conflicted becasue all his family is still in.

  it made me sad, he's young and knows its shite but doen't know what to do.

  my only "friends" were bethelites and congregation members.

  i left bethel 2 years ago and underwent a thorough investigation of the 'truth' without the so called blinders.

  WAC, believe it or not, there is a day coming when you won't understand why it was such a big deal to press the 'send' button. That will be a great day. Every now and then, step back and take a big bite of life somewhere else. Don't spend too long looking back.
