  Did You Find Yourself IGNORING What The Elders or Society Said?

  i realized that the manmade rules were so ungodly and more pharasaic that i began to tune out what i thought was blather and silly nonsense.

  eventually, i would sit at the meetings with either a visivle smirk or an inward one because of the foolishness spouted!---------did you have a similar sentiment??

  Mimimimi--you know what you must do right??? Give a very long and winded toast, and make sure to mention the beautiful wedding held at Babylon the Greats Church!!!

  I like the movie ET and used to ignore the counsel in the Watchtower about how his finger was a phallic symbol and he was likened to Jesus because of healing and being resurrected!

  We decided to become Witnesses again today!!!

  not jehovahs witnesses though lol, in case anyone was wondering....i'd have to move house, we can't "live in sin" and serve jah.. we saw a minor road accident between two cars, one of which looked likely to be a write off.

  fortunately no one was badly hurt, as the ambulance came but didn't take anyone to hospital.

  the police came as well, and took our names, so we are witnesses to the crash.. and that is the only witness either of us ever want to be again.. .

  the witnesses always say they are free in christ, i beg to differ, i don't know how many stupid unscriptural laws they have but lets start a thread on how many dumb witness laws you know and have heard of that make no sense or completely unbelievable, it is like they have a second talmud.

  cant have walt disney movies or stuffed animals as this is magical.

  cant have beards.

  I just remembered something else funny and weird. I had a girlfriend who was going through a divorce but would talk about how her husband wanted her to masterbate him and she used a tissue! And she thought it was SOOOO wrong because it wasn't actual intercourse! What a bunch of weirdos!!!

  OMG I am cracking up reading all these, and it brought back memories.

  Lucky Charms, Frankenberry, Booberry and Count Chocula--yeah you were not supposed to eat those cereals because eating those little marshmellows could bring demons into your house!!!

  Oh and women were not allowed to wear split skirts.

  as many of you know by now - i do not tolerate 'shunners'.

  i have done no evil, killed no one, never raped or pillaged any witnesses.

  i do not tolerate small-minded witnesses who called me 'brother' for most of 40 years, now acting as if i am no better than sh*t on the bottom of their shoes.

  Great letter! More xJWs should do the same. I don't recall ever reading in a Watchtower magazine that JWs were supposed to shun people in a place of business doing their job, a lot of JWs just take it upon themselves to snub people.

  Sorry about your house--that is terrible.

  The JWs would have said the Devil was testing you if you were an active JW, so they always have to spout something just for something to say.

  Newbie here with a DF question

  Welcome Steve--I was reinstated many years ago, then just quit going. People tried to get me to meet with the elders but I refused. They have left me alone, and they are counting me as 'inactive'. This is even though my JW sister has know that I have been celebrating all the holidays, and living an 'immoral' life according to their little rules. I probably just was announced as no longer one of JWs because I sent a letter to my sister recently letting her know how I honestly feel about the Watchtower Society, that they are an evil cult that breaks up families. I got tired of walking on eggshells around my sister and being oh-so-careful about how I spoke around her, apparently she thought I still had the JW mindset.

  Anyway, I'm rambling on. Hope you learn the truth about the 'Truth'.

  i just left my work desk to go to the rest room.

  this guy came out of the stall and clearly just finished his business and didn't wash his hands.

  i see this a lot.
