  does anyone know if he had grandchildren etc?

  i was publicly reproved last year and the elders have taken their sweet time in reinstating my "privileges".

  it's been six months and i can't answer at the meetings or participate in the theocratic ministry school.

  in all honesty- i don't care about the privileges.

  i finally registered on here after reading on the forum for almost two years on and off (more often the last year).

  to give you some background on who i am i can say that i'm a girl in my late teens and live in western europe.

  my mom is a jw and my dad is not.

  Are most people aware of this website? They have a video that is pretty interesting. It was too long though and I didn't have time to listen to the whole thing. Very very interesting though, shows how dangerous the Watchtower really is. Very very sad story of two young boys who committed suicide with a shotgun because of the JW religion.

  I feel free but at the same time sad. I used to feel comforted thinking there was a big guy in the sky watching over me. Now I know there isn't, not with all the human suffering that goes on and the way the earth is becoming ruined by mankind's selfishness.

  sometimes people make special connections to animals.

  sometimes they bond very deeply and are real friends.

  yesterday was the end of such a friendship that lasted ten wonderful years.

  All I can say is WOW. You did a very loving thing but what a damn hard thing to do. I was so shocked when I read that you put the dog away with your shotgun that I started sobbing, so so sad. I am very sorry for your loss.

  We have a 100 pound white German Shepherd mixed with possibly wolf that we rescued from the pound about 5 years ago. I thought I was close to other pets but this one takes the cake-- he thinks he's a lap dog with my husband and worships my husband and he is the sweetest dog yet such a good watch dog. I dread the day we lose him.

  Aren't Watchtower literature trolleys and stands illegal?

  in many places it is illegal to set up a stand and sell things in public without council approval.

  so why is it that jws can set up their trolleys in busy public areas without being asked to move on?

  i saw this article this morning about muslims being asked to stop handing out leaflets in parramatta, because it is illegal.

  I don't think they are illegal where I live. I see them on the corner of the state capital building and there are lots of cops around.
