as you may recall, the wts arranged to take my sick daughter into hiding for two months and payed a doctor to prescribe arsenic.
the doctor ant the wts lawyers convinced bethany that the arsenic treatment could cure her.

Brutality of the bird kingdom - cest la vie.
by Crumpet ini was busy typing away here in my conservatory when my next door neighbours leaned over the fence calling my name.
they asked if i could see a budgie in my garden, so i tiptoed barefoot up the lawn and there pecking away at the grass and fallen apples was a pudgey budgie grey and white.
i saw the same one a month ago fly over our garden which was odd.

Well my naughty kitty cat ate my daughter's Chinese fighter fish a few months ago. She found the half-eaten fish on her bedroom floor one day and was very upset. Does that count?

Yes I'm happy. I just wish I wasn't broke all the time, but I am happily remarried after being a single mom of 3 kids and now I have an additional 4 stepsons, a daughter-in-law, and a step-grandbaby I adore. I'm definitely happier than when I was a miserable guilt-ridden JW.

My story - part One.
by diamondblue1974 ini have never posted my story on jwd and it was only recently that it occured to me that i should really make more of an effort to; here is the first part....sorry if its longwinded.... .
i was brought up in the borg from the age of 18 months old and as you can understand i have known little else.
previous to being in the truth my mother was an unwanted child and beaten by her mother, sure enough she fell into an abusive relationship with my father which left her with minus zero confidence and on the verge of a nervous breakdown; apparently my mum was considering throwing us both off a railway bridge she was that depressed and to her there was no point in living.

Thanks for sharing your story (and you 2 Crumpet), and other's posts. I'm shaking my head in disbelief at people. My 3 kids rock my world and I love them more than anything, all I care about in my lifetime is raising 3 kids who grow up to like themself and to be happy.
My parents did not abuse me physically, although my father said some pretty mean things to me and my siblings because he had low self-esteem and wanted to make sure to pass it onto the next generation. My mother was just plain nuts and instead of taking care of her children or spending any time cleaning the house (our house was filthy when I was growing up), she spent all of her time spying on the neighborhood and made me help her spy on the neighbors when I was a little girl. It was a strange existence.
My way of getting back at my parents is to tell my kids every day that I love them and that they are wonderful. And I never ever say mean things to my kids that I would regret later.

This place has given me closure on my former JW way of thinking. I love people's humor, and the way people here are so kind to other people who are hurting. And the apologists who post here are at times hysterically funny. I consider people here my Cyber friends who are there when I need them.
