  it has helped me to really find myself.

  i love how my brain works now.

  it never did this when i was going to the kh.......i was just another stunted unpaid employee of the wtbts..didnt even get workmans comp while peddling the tower......lol....everything is on our dime.

  .....my son and his wife are both jws and have been for years.

  the wife has pioneered for years, but i don't think she is now b/c she currently starting working.

  they have been talking about taking a vacation (something that they've never done).

  .....My son and his wife are both JWs and have been for years. The wife has Pioneered for years, but I don't think she is now b/c she currently starting working.

  They have been talking about taking a vacation (something that they've never done). Also, my son is working on putting together a Facebook page.

  My question is: do you think they are starting to get less zealous about the WTS.....or am I just wishful thinking??

  after several months of searching these forums i finally decided to join.

  i have to say i feel both nervous and excited at the same time.

  but everything i have looked into so far has helped me come to many realizations about the organization so i'm overall very glad to have joined.

  Hi and welcome!

  No one in my family is in the org but me, sadly, but then again not so sadly when I really think about it.

  Thank goodness for THAT! At least you won't have to suffer the pain that a lot of JWs suffer.....when their family & friends shun them for being DF'd.

  I hope you enjoy your new life....free from the mind control of the Watchtower Org.

  JWs can become anointed at any time??

  someone in a previous thread stated this regarding the "new light" on the 1914 teaching:.

  people can still become anointed at any time.. .

  i'm curious (as usual).........how do these jws know they're anointed?

  Thanks bluecanary! For so many years, the WTS was so strict on the 1914 teaching......but I guess since most of that generation are dying off, they had to get "new light", huh?
