doctrine, she said "he must have had a big sin".
so, this is what my daughter is being taught, that you have to have a "big sin" to be disfellowshipped and shunned.

New light re: talking to DF'd persons
by caryl ini was df'd in 1985 and have not been back since.
of course disowned by my family.
at that time they rarely called or came over because i had small children and they called just enough to semi maintain a relationship with them.

However, it seems like there must be a new light or something because over the last 5 years they do call once or twice a year about nothing in particular.
Do you have any other siblings? Are they in the organization? Perhaps they are thinking they may need to keep some level of contact with you if they are elderly and may need your help sometime in the future in taking care of them since they WTS wont.

their web site alone has 4 references to him and one can hardly swing a prepubescent baptizee without hitting a dozen watchtowers that quote this historian.. but would will durant appreciate their adoration?

I'm sorry, my Secret Santa present will not be delivered before Christmas
by Elsewhere ini shipped the package well in advance (december 10th), but ups and office depot seriously screwed up!
they promised it would be delivered by the 19th, but yesterday i went to the ups website to track the package and it never left dallas!
as it turns out, for a package to be shipped to canada it must be accompanied by an invoice... but office depot, the place that shipped it for me, never attached the needed invoice nor did they even tell me such a thing would be needed!

Some Christians might feel that taking into their bodies any tissue or body part from another human is cannibalistic.
Don't you just love it when they come up with the idea that "some christians might feel" blah blah blah instead of attributing those words to themselves, the WTS. If "some christians" other than themselves felt that way they would have faced judicial action and would be accused of "independent thinking" instead of having their thinking in line with the Society.
