Some uber dubs would tell you that if you went to a Rolling Stones concert you would be going to a demonic experience if you paid $600 or not!

at the very moment i signed oni saw the quote related to demonic experiences next to the $600 question about the stones.. given my desire to increase efficiency i thought it might be good to combine the topics.. i am very dissapointed that i have never had a demonic experience.
the fact that i don't believe in demons may have impacted my lack of experience.
however, i would never spend $600 to seen any group or person - even if they were naked.. so, how about you?.

i can't believe the prices of concert tickets these days.
the rolling stones is starting their tour this year in los angeles tonight and some of the floor tickets are as high as $600!!!
they were in little rock back around 2005 or 2006 and the most expensive ticket back then for their show was $300.

Fleetwood Mac is performing here in Little Rock tonight and I would LOVE to see them but the price of the tickets are not in my budget even though they are not expensive as the Stones. I remember back in 1998 and early 2000s I saw Elton John twice, once when he was in Little Rock and the other time he was in Memphis with Billy Joel and I remember I didn't pay over $40 for the tickets. Saw heart twice and I know I only paid around $30 or $40 something. I also saw other muscians like Keb Moe, Joan Jett, James Brown, Hootie and the Blowfish at Riverfests in Little Rock when the admission was around $10. The days of seeing good musicians at a decent price are gone.

how do you like it?
i read some reviews, some of them said it stopped working after it has been washed.
i do not know if the reviews are planted negatively.
I use an old IBM Model M keyboard and the key caps come off and pop back on so I clean my keyboard that way. I heard of people putting them in dishwashers but since they don't make these keyboards anymore I'm not going to risk messing this keyboard up, even though I have one put away for backup, lol.

he was my dad's favorite.
i can remember many many evenings my uncles coming over (all jw's) and listening to the old vinyl records (which i still enjoy).
its kind of a strange time in my life.

went to the weeknight meeting this week for the first time in a long while.
the study was all about how having children was ill-advised in this time of the end- the comments dwelled on what a burden children are, how you can spend more time in the ministry without children, and look what they did in jerusalem- they cannabilized their own children!
it's going to be so horrible to watch our children suffer during the great tribulation!
I remember the talk given at the District Convention back in 1987 when I was baptised at the age of 19 entitled "Childrearing In The Time of The End" and now many people who were not even born back then are grown and have children of their own. I wonder how people who have been in that cult for so many years can keep a straight face when they hear this shit over and over.

once when i was profoundly sad for too many days, my brother in law sent us a mix tape.
he named each song after a person in our family.
this is the one he named heather.
I thought it was so strange that she died today. I was thinking about her for some reason last night and wondered if she was still alive or how her MS had progressed and I came across this news documentary on her I think that was done not long ago; probably the last public appearance of what multiple sclerosis did to her. It's heartbreaking.

i have noticed the extreme lack of love in this group of people who preach love, love, love.. we recently had serious floods come through our area and the jws couldnt have cared less.
our 'worldly' friends did sooo much for us though.
raising money, giving gifts, cards, accomodation and so much support and hard work.. i personally think jws are one of the most insensitive, uncaring religions around.. three religious groups were absolutely wonderful during the flooding of our area.
"Jehovah's visible organization can use you,but can get along without you too.But you cannot get along without it.Fruitless ones are eventually pruned off and never missed as new ones are grafted in''. Pruned-off branches soon wither and die, being cut off from the circulating, life-giving sap. Likewise, if a hand or foot is cut from the human body the severed member perishes, or if it is kept inactive in a cramped position it goes to sleep, gets numb, loses its ability to move. The blood in which is the life fails to circulate to those parts, fails to bring in new food supplies and carry off waste matter. So it is with Jehovah’s visible organization. All must associate together, get the life-giving spiritual food that God circulates to his people through the organization, get the new truths that take away old ideas and the admonition that keeps down queer personal ideas, all of which keeps us fresh and strong and active, seeing eye to eye and fighting shoulder to shoulder. Don’t become a withered branch or a paralyzed foot. Don’t amputate yourself from the organization and commit spiritual suicide.—John 15:1-8.
