i thought i knew a few things but it seems i was wrong.

i just stumbled upon the fact that there is no acts 8:37 in the nwt.

i can see why but i am curious how this has been justified to jws by the borg.

I thought I knew a few things but it seems I was wrong. I just stumbled upon the fact that there is no Acts 8:37 in the NWT. I can see why but I am curious how this has been justified to JWs by the borg.

Anyone have an experiance they would like to share? Also why is this not one of the first things told to people who interact with xJWs?

I am back. I have been away for a couple of months or so now. Moved(still in the process) and without internet. I have it now and there is so much to catch up on.

For those of you who remember my story, things are pretty much the same. No real progress that lasts but there are good and bad days. I am still very much in love with her and want to help her but all I can do now is wait for God to work through her.

They have greatly oppressed me from my youth-
Let Israel say-
they have greatly oppressed me from my youth.
but they have not gained victory over me.
Plowmen have plowed my back
and made their furrows long.
But the Lord is righteous;
he has cut me free from the cords of the wicked.

To me this is a testament to God showing his love to those who have been controled and decieved.

while cleaning cupboards today, i had court tv on in the other room, listening to the commentary about the mj trial.. i was pretty surprised when they started talking about his going back to jehovah's witnesses and that he had taken his children to a kingdom hall in solvang (near where he lives) around easter time.

so it was for the memorial.

they said that since then, he has been attending pretty regularly with his kids, but that because he is disfellowshipped (and they had this information correct, saying he wrote a letter disassociating himself many years ago, but that he is technically disfellowshipped) no one will talk to him.. so, is he trying to make a comeback?

I am not all that familiar with Jesse Jackson except kowing he ran for president and was a religious person. Does anyone find it jacked up that he equate Christianity with JWs? Neither Christians nor JWs want to be associated with other other. I know JWs consider themselves Christians but not when true Christians are included in the equation.

Does It Mean One Religion?

at ephesians 4:5 reference is made to 'one faith'.

does this mean the faith of one religion or denomination or does it mean all united in one faith, that is faith in jesus christ as lord and savior regardless of the denomination or religion?

No need to apologize. God luckily has the power to use even Satan's tools to his own ends. We see that daily with JWs coming to know Christ. These are sometimes people who have no knowledge of God and were introduced (however distorted) to him by the WTS.

In God's time all will be revealed and the WTS will fall.
