I have noticed that at the Kingdom Hall there are no cemeteries around! Where do they bury the dead of the faithful Jehovah's Witnesses? I'm not sure but if they are buried at the local cemeteries which are Catholic, United Church, etc... etc.... isn't that being a bit hipocrit to speak openly about these church right from the pulpit yet those Churches are good enough to rest in peace? Can anyone enlighten me on this? I know some are creamated but what about the rest?

Share your most embarassing moments
by DigitalFokus inyou have to be able to laugh at yourself sometimes.... here is one of my most embarassing moments.. i was in 7th grade and also the new kid in school.
this happened during one of our first big test's, i think it was my english glass but i am not sure.. i had bad gas for some reason that day and had been holding it in instead of "dusting the crops" in the hallways (which is a great way to shed your gas without having to claim it).
i am sitting in class trying to concentrate on the test while holding in my deadly gas with all the strength my buttcheeks could muster.

While I was taking a shower one afternoon my friend happened to drop over to visit. I didn't hear him come in so when I was done my shower, I just came out butt naked thinking it was just me and the wife at home alone and there he was standing right in front of me! I know its just another guy but its still very embarasing!

by OpenFireGlass infinally have the time to type more than a sentance.... .
my name is, mike warren... that's my real age in my profile...& yes that's my real pic.
though i was never baptized, i was raised in the silly religion... my parents started their study in early 1974 (at least i got 1birthday &1 christmas, not that i remember...) mom was baptized in less than a year after she started her study... it took my father about 7-8 more years to give up smoking, but he still made all the meetings & ruled with a leather belt.. i also have a younger sister that has faded (she got baptized).

I go here all the time to lurk and I find this place very interesting. I'm not a former Jehovah's witness but I do have a nephew and a friend who is and I got interested in them after my nephew didn't go to his grand fathers, my fathers funeral! It really took me back and then I wanted to know all about them. I seen the video Jehovah's Witness A Cult and learned about their beliefs. I strongly suggest you download this video. You can do a search for the video or download it using Kazaa or something similar. I myself am a practicing Catholic so don't all gang up on me. Ha ha!

why do so many religions claim that Jesus is God?
by evergreen inhi everyone, i have often wondered why so many religions view jesus as being god.
every website i look up claiming to be the christian faith strongly believe that this is the case.. i mean the actual trinity doctrine didnt come about untill about the 3rd or 4th century and was originally the catholic church that brought it about.
although jehovahs witnesses seem to push jesus into the background a lot which is something that has always troubled me.

United Penticostal Church preach the oneness of God in their church! Down where I live there are two churches right by each other, the United Penticostal Church and the Kingdom Hall and they are quite different but share that same principle belief that God and Jesus are separate! I know they disagree on who Jesus is, one says he's Micheal the arc angel and the other says that God is Jesus, the son is Jesus, and the holy spirit is also Jesus! I was brought up Catholic and so I am a favourite target of most Religions but I'm prowd of being who I am! It's really hard to find who has all the answers but so far I'd have to say I'll remain where I am because from what I see nobody has all the answers! Right! -

This is right out of the New World Translation Bible!
(John, Chapter 6 verse 52 to 56) explain the Catholic view on Holy Communion! The Body and Blood is transformed at the Comunion table and all Christians churches around the world believed this too, until about maybe two or three hundred years ago or so whenever the Protestants came into being! This is true! Please read it for yourself!!!!!

Grey Eyes, I'm glad that you found this site and there are a lot of other sites also so do look around! I'm sorry that you seem to have had it with Religion but you can still have a personal relationship with Jesus and I think you'll find that God is everywhere so find a good church that allow you to also have your own mind without using mind control to make you do things that you can do on your own after all we were made to have a free will! Good luck!

I might try that someday, drop in on them unexpectedly, but I already have my eyes opened to them! Thanks for the tip! You might say I'm sort of interested in them because they are so different and there's not a lot of knowledge of their church service, since most people are not Jehovah's Witness and they don't know much about them except that they're a cult or you'll hear "don't have anything to do with them"! I know a bit about their doctrine from reading on the internet and I do have a nephew who is a Jehovah's Witness but his wife is not and that is a problem for that family! I have a friend who is in the same boat! She's a Witness and her Witness friends come around to hang out with them! I'd like to know as much about them as possible but I don't think you can deprogram them after they are active Witness's!
