I always wondered how elvis costello (the singer from the shadows if you dont already know) managed to be committed to being a pop star and being a jw, any way i wonder if he is still one.I mean b4 i joined the jws i was a popular dj and the elders told me i had to stop doing it,so why wasnt elvis costello stopped i mean you cant serve to masters can you!!!!

Do Jws help disfellowshipped ones or apostates?

do you think that, if say you fell over and and seriously injured yourself in the street, would a jw you knew passing by help you knowing that you were disfellowshipped or so called apostate.
maybe even come to see you at home if you were unwell or depressed,i mean how many witnesses have assisted or helped you when you needed it mostly,you see i thought they were supposed to encourage you to become so called spiritually stronger.but saying that when you were active as a jw do you think you were helped in times of distress or illness by your fellow jw,for instance i know a woman who's still a witness but hasnt been to meetings for say a year and thats because she has severe athritis and guess what only 1 j-dub has wrote to her so to her it seems like if your not a regular at meeting you may as well be classed as disfellowshipped.

Joanna dont worry about them, you know your a good person and that all that counts you dont have to answer to anybody,you know what you wanna do "ignore them 1st" thats what i do. (you look like a teddy bear in the photo aww). roybatty that so sick how they did that, you see i would help anyone i could despite their circumstances there hearts are obviously shut tight. Andyman i have heard that one off so many people i know as well,and they have the cheek to knock peoples doors and preach to them "what hypocrisy". When i joined the jws 2 yrs ago because i came from the world and having a so called worldy image i was immediately judged by most but i didnt care because i had a life unlike them i had self respect, and then 2 weeks later an elder wanted me to partake in an item he had about newcomers to the truth what they had to change to fit in in with the J-dubs and i told the whole hall i used to smoke pot,be a proffesional thief,x-pornstar etc, and they were disgusted and i loved it i just wanted to give them some food for thought.I also very much agree with all your comments

Should jws drive cars!!!
by haujobbz ini was thinking about the time when i asked an elder about this because he said i had to give up smoking to become baptised,and i said that it doesnt specify in the bible that you cant smoke,he then said it defiles the flesh and that our bodies are a sacrifice to god i was puzzled because our flesh is already corrupted by sin,bacteria,pollution,etc.
he then said god will bring to ruin all those ruining the earth but think about it so does driving cars ruin the earth,he then said that gods will couldnt be accomplished worldwide without transport.but the disciples didnt use transport that polluted the earth and they managed ok,so im now thinkin how can a world wide preaching work be accomplished without ruining the earth today,well we have got the net,phones,mmm i let you all decide

There a few things you could do if someone makes you cry,you could say something back to make them cry,you could beat them up lol,you could worry about your eyeliner running (im not a woman),you could tell them you were just chopping onions,you could tell them you were in a play and practicing your part for it,you could tell them you missed going to meetings.

Worst watchtower you tryed to place!!

the worst magazines i tryed to place was about 13 months ago i think 1 was the watchower on witchcraft and the other was the elderly commiting suicide.i thought how the hell am i going to offer this mag on witchcraft, i think i ended giving them to the pioneers,i mean what sort of presentation could i use with this witchcraft article i suppose i could of spoke about the blair witch project and tell them how c:@p it was,i mean i loved horror films.and to make things worse the magazine about the elderly commiting suicide "oh god" that was a bad one especially when i had to offer it at an old peoples home.
so anyone on here what mags did you find terrible to place.

I remember another 1 it was a watchtower on familys being happy, it was just the way the elder with me presented it "oh it was so funny lol !!!.He said something like familys can be happy to the woman, and she replied saying what you trying to say" my family is happy" i was laugthing so much at that one. ILL tell you something though i always had a good laugh on the door to door work i didnt take it as serious as most but still there you go
