i've been waking up so early on sunday mornings that i finally decided to attend a church today.
it's lutheran, and a work associate invited me some time ago.
taking the risk of being uncovered as an apostate (or at least being under suspicion as one) if i'd have been seen entering or leaving the place, off i went anyway for the 8 am service.
The trinity appeared twice in the bible,
1.Baptism of Jesus.
2.Transfiguration.

as a relative newbie i haven't seen the subject of suicides posted.
it's been many years since i left and i was always uneasy at the wt's rigid, unloving stance.
i viewed someone who committed such a horrendous self-destructive act as a person with some mental ailment and how could we hold someone with any ailment in contempt.
Then again, the Catholic Church probably didn't apologize to families of those condemned for eating meat on Friday's despite the concurrent prohibition
Often the catholic church prays for those who commited suicide, for their soul might be going through a difficult stage in Purgatory.
Suicide is an offence against god, it is breaking the fifth commandmant thy shall not kill and that involves yourself on this commandmant.
God would be saddened to se his children take their lives. God is willing to help those who are going through the difficult time of contemplating suicide.

im thinking of be rebaptized.. .
it seems very few think the jw baptism is correct and i should get redone, as it were.. any thoughts.

Which church are you thinking of being re-baptised in?
It might be important because you were not baptised in the name of the father the son and the holy spirit.
That is a requirement for baptism which the jw's leave out
So maybe ask a church about this, or go to www.catholic.com and speak to the christians there note not all of the people on the forum there are catholics so you'll be able to hear from people from different faiths.

what if franz stated he found some seer stones and put them inside his tophat and was able to read them and they gave him a new gospel but god took the stones to heaven and now you just have to believe him?

if christ's invisble presence began in 1914 and he was put on the throne, how come no one noticed.
surely this was one of the most important events in our time.
surely with all the annoited still alive back then someone must of noticed, at least one person ?, surely jehovah would of shone the light on the faithful and discreet slave class ?
The watchtower originally believed that christ would come in 1914 but when he didn't appear, they didn't want people to think they were wrong and false, so they made up a petty excuse and claimed that Jesus came but was invisible!

well my dream last night was rather intersting.
dreamt i went back to the kingdom hall and everyone had access codes & these computerised dog collars on (neon lights and all) my code had expired & i never recieved a dog collar.
so i go off to the reception desk & there's this very prim & proper witness lady with her flashing dog collar ticking away at her pee cee.
Hey with the dog collers do the elders have a button and everytime they push it you get electricuted?
