Well Waiting,
I've finally figured out what you're waiting for! I, on the other hand, have a great deal of confidence that the reality of equality between the sexes is not only possible but inevitable. Take a hard and objective look at the last 150 years and see if the world is not moving in that direction, albeit at glacial pace at times, yet the old guard which includes institutions like the Borg and Fundamentlists of all stripes are trying to halt the progress, they are dying off!

It seems to me that the thin theological ice that the witnesses are on when it comes to the issue of blood transfusion makes them try to rationalize or beef up their position by trying to argue based on medical issues surrounding use of blood.
Strike two! Their science is as bad as their theology! How much time do they spend decrying barbers for practicing tooth-pulling? How many other new diciplines do they take on? The further out on a limb they get the more they grasp for ideas to save their balderdash!

Since I don't know a lot of you...
by Tishie inwould anyone mind doing one of those famous internet introduction sessions?.
since i completely and thoroughly filled out my profile, i think you all know enough about me :) and if you are bad, bad people, you might even know my history with the jws.
but, i'll give you the run-down, since i'm asking.. my real name is teresa (tishie being a nickname from my husband [tish, actually], which i adapted for the 'net about 5 or 6 years ago because i didn't like running into other teresas... eh, rf?)..

MGM,
Come on over! I'll be happy to show you around this damdable desert! Actually the northern Galallie is rather green and lush but then the lake is pretty low, evidence of too much being used for agriculture and lack of wise use.
The south end from Tel Aviv down is all desert and rock. Can't for the life of me think what everybody is fighting about! I wouldn't give you a half penny for the whole silly place.

Don't believe it Maxie. She's bitterer than pickled olives! The old battle axe chased a good many away and now she can't wait to dance on his grave! Believe me, I knew him. He was nothing short of a prince of a person and old Waiting, why she never waited for anything her whole life other than his pay check. Then she had it spent before it was earned!
Gotta be careful of these net hussies who claim to be all warm and fuzzie! They'll suck you in and take you for all you got then drop ya for another guy in a New York minute! I know, I was there best man!
carmel who sure misses the old days...

Hi Tish! See you over at Support4! Nice bunch over there too! I'm the old fart of the crowd here, at 57. Retired and enjoying life doing volunteer work and growing ornamental flowers. Wifey and I have two sons and two daughters naturally and one adopted daughter who has our only grand child.
We live in Israel but make it back to the US usually once a year. Used to teach highschool up in Eureka, Montana and drove through Idaho several times a year on trips to the coast.
I left the WTBTS 43 years ago and was given thee old shunning treatment by entire family. Now most of my nieces and nephews and several inlaws are "out". Never gave any of this much thought until I got on the net two years ago and started checking out H20 and other sites. Each one has its own character and flavor. Don't have much to offer those going through withdrawal problems as things were so different back then and it was a long time ago.
Hope to catch up with you later.
