the wts claims they can make mistakes, fix them, and its all good because the bible says the light gets brighter.

thats all fine and good but if thats true then why wouldnt new light appy to all other religions?

how can the say that other religions are false because of what they teach?

Schizm the problem is that when Russell started the org. the jws didnt believe any of those things. So they have recieved new light on these subjects and so could other religions. Also I would like to add that new light allows for old new light to be reversed as new new light so how do we know that what the society is teaching as truth now wont be changed into new light at a later time? Maybe they will get new light that says everyone will be in heaven, or that the trinity is right, or something totally different. So schizm how do we know that the wts new light is the right new light?

what are their proofs that god is running the show and what evidence is there that god is not running the show.. could be interesting to see what we can all come up with.

I dont believe in god or satan, but this question is for someone like defd. If I was trying to figure out if satan was leading the wts, whitch I should definetly have to consider since the wts claims he is running every other religion, how would I know he wasnt using the wts? Dont tell me because of the love they had amongst themselves, because there are other religions who show just as much love as jws. And even so, couldnt he lead people to have love amongst themsleves, just to make it appear they were the true religion? After all he is so powerful hes leading millions of jews, catholics, and muslims. I wouldnt think that leading 6 million dubs is hard for him. So defd, how do YOU know?

The WTS claims they can make mistakes, fix them, and its all good because the bible says the light gets brighter. Maybe the other religions just havent gotten thier new light yet. New light only applies to us, because we are the true religion; we are the true religion, because we get new light that says we are.

This is a great question. According to the WTS, every other religion is run by satan. But why? And they always say how powerful satan is, so if he were so powerful and wanted to fool people, wouldnt he do best to start a religion and fool people into believing it was the truth? How would one know if he was behind it?

i had an idea.......what if once a year or so all apostates and anit-jw's showed up at the kingdom hall for services?

even if they didnt even speak, just the mere presence of a few apostates in the crowd.

but make it known to all congs that this is the day.

Brenda, yes I would go to the hall my wife was attending, just because alot of the people there know me as a hard-core anti-witness. As a matter of fact I really wonder what they think of me because I saw a few at the dc and let me tell you I fit in perfect with the dubs, sport coat and all. I mean they know I have some tough questions and they know my postition that is if they wont answer my questions then I will not acknowledge anything they have to say. Then they see me at the dc. They probably think "He knows its the truth he just wont admit" or some crap like that. I hope they are confused about me but I doubt it.

To Defd,

From what I have seen in my short relationship with the dubs, if I am wrong and armageddon comes, I will rejoice at 1. The fact that I spent every moment of my life free and enjoying all this paradise we call earth has to offer, and 2. The fact that I will not have to spend eternity in hellish earth run by the lying, hypocritical, child molester protecting organazation of the jws.

Have you ever heard them talk about how strong satan is, how powerful? Have you ever stopped to think he could be running the wts? Please give me the reasons you know that he is not running the wts because I would really like to know them.

I had an idea.......What if once a year or so all apostates and anit-jw's showed up at the Kingdom Hall for services? Even if they didnt even speak, just the mere presence of a few apostates in the crowd. But make it known to all congs that this is the day. Then they will be expecting it, and will warn the members. All the apostates can sit there and take notes. The speakers will have to be careful what they say.
