There is no double fulfillment. These are all talking about a future event- beyond the lifetime of those Jesus was speaking to at that time. Reading Matt 24, Mark 14 and Luke 21 side by side will reveal this...as well as show the Gentile time have been since the day of Adam's sin right up until armageddon. The WT haphazardly applies these verses to 70ce...actually applying Luke 21 to 70ce up until verse 23 but applying verse 24 to 607BCE to arrive at their not so magical formula pointing to 1914. Jesus had, prior to this already spoken of the destruction coming in 70ce...this conversation was totally a different topic.

My husband is reading about the initial fulfillment of the last days....
by cognac inthat happened in 70 ce... i guess it has 2 fulfillments.... i'm drinking a beer right now, not in the mood for this conversation... mostly i hear, bla bla bla bla bla....... he's trying to figure something out... i asked whether those scriptures had 1 or 2 fulfillments... anyone know???.

sooo... seams like "the memorial" shouldn't be celebrated because jesus was murdered.

A JW would argue (quite effectively) that Jesus said to memorialize His death. They miss the point that we are not commanded to BUT NEITHER COMMANDED NOT TO observe the anniversary of one's birth.

While I can understand one wanting to do this...this sort of action disrespects the meaning of communion, and also reinforces in the JWs minds that us apostates are mean, evil spirited liars. Why unnecessarily feed thir complex? There may be a JW on the fringe who is beginning to question and this sort of action would simply reinforce in his mind that the witnesses were right about the apostates and that there is no where else to go. And if one is partaking of communion simply to anger people or to inflate numbers on a report this would seem to be quite contrary to the meaning of communion. Even if you disagree with this point or don't care please consider my other point.
