Fred: I would say no. Her influence would be confusing to your children. She would put down holidays and ruin it for your children and you.She will Witness to your children. If they ask she will answer. It will put guilt shame and confusion in your children. She will be loyal.dependable,honest,God-fearing. But she would be thinking she is saving your children from Armaggedeon. If they have any questions ,I suggest you answer them. She will putfear in their hearts.

I was watching my Daughters children last year. Thy were going to vacation Bible school. My Son who is a j.w. asked me to watch his children while he worked. The children wanted to go to Bible school with my daughters children. I had no idea at that time that Bible school would be wrong. The 5 year old was terrified to go in the church because she was told that the devil was in there. My son told me that that is right. I would never stay in an organization where they would tell a child that scary story.

I believe that the Catholic and the witnesses are having problems because they worship and put people in higher category, simply because they are the priest and the elders. They solely put their trust in these people. These people are flesh and blood. They do not sit on the right hand side of God.The Witnesses wont make a move without the elders telling them to.The Catholics bow down and kiss rings. You should never put that much trust in one person.I know a man who was drill sergeant in Army. He said they have to take Sargeants out and have them do something else for a while because people have a tendecy to take advantage of their authority after a while and become power hungry. The same applies here.Power is a drug and misused can be very dangerous. There was a man who lived by us several years ago.His wife and children were killed.Police believe he did it.put him in jail.Jury found him guilty. A few years later he got a new trial and was released. My point which I am trying to get at is,his mother in law, which is his wifes Mother and other members of her family wouldnt even read the reports. He was an elder in his church.therefore he coudnt have done it. Police tried to get them to read reports and then make a decision. They would not.he is an elder.he would not do this. His name is David Hendricks. He is an elder. therefore, next to God.People must remember they are just people.they hurt.they bleed, they sin. Also,I do not know my Bible as I should, but I remember Jesus stating that if anyone hurts a child they will have to answer to him.Not in those words of course, but he would not be on the pedophiles side, even if he is an elder.

I believe that priests and elders are just men. They should be treated like any other man that has been accused of this crime. I also believe that they should be set upon by the church or K.H. until matter is settled. By that I mean they shouldnt be counseling or going on field service. They have to live by the law of the land or Ceasers law.People seem to think that priests and elders are better than most men,but they are just men. I think they kind of believe it themselves.temptation hits everyone and some cant handle it.

The K.H. that my son goes to would just tell them not to watch and they wouldnt. For instance, several years ago there was a movie called "A Perfect World". with Kevin Costner.Everybody at the K.H. and my son were all excited because in the story line, there was a family of Jehovahs Witness. The child that was kidnapped was a J.W.The next meeting they were told not to view this movie as it shows the witnesses in the wrong light All of a sudden the same people who thought it was an excellent movie depicting J.W.'s hated the movie.

This is my first time on this forum.6 years ago my three married children decided to become a J.W. MY oldest daughter and my son were baptized. My son is still a J.W. His wife has since gotten a divorce partly because of J.W.'s.He has the kids. His oldest daughter wants out but he wont let her. He really has become strange. He went to Grandmothers funeral and made fun of preacher the whole time.He doesnt have much to do with my oldest daughter because she quit J.W's.His Oldest daughter tried to committ suicide,I had to force him to go to emergency room. They had her in intensive care and said she wouldnt be out of the woods until 2 am.He said well,it is 2 am and she is still here so lets go home. In waiting room he read the watchtower only. His biggest concern was signing paper so she wouldnt get blood if needed. The congo. punished her for trying to committ suicide by making her go on field service but couldnt leave the car. she went to school and had floats etc. she painted her face, since they are called the Indians. A witness spotted her and reported her to the congo. she got in trouble for that ,can you believe that? sick people!
