i have two cats two fish and two ginea pigs!
seeing as i lost all my friends thought id fill my life with animals!!
wish i hadnt bothered sometimes apart from my cats(harvey and jemima) i love them loads.

she is about 8 months now and thinks she is a lap dog!
she is as graceful as a cat, and can be on my lap in about a second with no notice.

by Cordelia inmy friend has been struggling in the 'truth' for a while, she was never really a model jw and since ive been dfed and her little sister was abused shes wanted to leave but cant seem to find the way to do it.
so she rung me today and told me she is meeting with the elders (two i think) as she has told them she has questions and wants answers.. i think her overall hope is that they dont answer her questions and she finds the strength to leave!
(she says sometimes shed like them to df her but i think thats just coz she wants to go so much!.

thanks i told her alittle of what u said today and she said she may just concerntrate on one issue but if they cant answer anything shell use it as her excuse to stop going completly to the meetings!
im interested tho whats that thing about hitler??

a newme thats a really sad story glad u found this website i got dfed 6 months ago and its helping me.
that wt article is so good my parents are struggling so bad money wise because they havent prepared at all for their future they are mid 60s and still working so hard. and yet they still say the society never said any dates!!

i dont want to encourage her to get dfed coz for me it has caused my family so much pain! but she only has her dad and husband in it and alot of supportive non jw family the thing isto answer your threads (cant remember who said what) but yes she prob should put a daing letter in if thats how she feels but i think she at least wants to look like shes tried,
im glad someone put about doubting the f and d slave i thin k thats the best thing she can do, do u think if she went with loads of questions it would not be good? i was going to arm her with a few but like someone said should she just stickj to one but REALLY stick to it?

i know they would not listen to her she doesnt want them to, i know its a weird situation but shes said for ages she has questions and now they want to talk to her its like her way out (maybe)
i thought the 607 thing etc would seal her fate (like she wants) but maybe not i dont know

i thought if she wanted to get dfed she should concerntrate on the un 607 etc but they would prob know its come from me (and im not sure how i feel about that!) but i want to help her the best way i can she defo doesnt want to be talked round not sure of the best way to go.

thanks everyone thats what i told her.
thing is she seems to want to be dfed as she thinks she will never leave otherwise! i dont think they will df her i think they may try and answer her questions (am i being stupid?) but she was just gonna say things like 'i dont agree with my friend being dfed or my sister being abused' etc
and i think she needs to ask geniune questions about the beliefs if she wants to be dfed am i right?

anyway she hasnt axcess to a computer but i would love to show her your comments show her she is right to have doubts, but does anyone have any advice on taking their doubts to the elders (will she get dfed for that) and is there any really GOOD things she can (innocently) say to really tie them in knots??
