i want to research into some of the jws teachings in the hope i can find something thatll eventually make my family listen to me, and something little toe said once got me thinking.. why dont the jws take the bread and wine?

i know why they say they dont but as little toe said jesus died for us and told us to take it its kind of like saying 'no thanks jesus im not bothered that you died for me'.

what do you guys think?

Does anybody know..if I disassociate myself, how will I be announced??

my husband and i have been out for well over a year now.

but we have not been dfd (because we have not done anything wrong) we just stopped attending.

our question is..if we go ahead and disassociate ourself, will they say at the meeting.."so and so has disassociated themselves", or rather will they say, "so and so is no longer a jehovahs witness"?

but if you do dissassociate yourselves you will be shunned, is that really what you want? would it not be easier to just leave it as it is, tho if you dont have anyone close in the religon i would say go for it, surely the more people leaving the more others will wonder why!!

I remember saying the cow thing, its true isnt it, you cant go a day without seeing a cow, even if its just on your tub of butter or milk or whatever, but its impossiable to go a day without seeing one

i dont remember the mooseheads one i was prob too drunk then and sirona was prob too drunk when the cow one was mentioned, at least we get drunk at different times so we can fill each other in the next day

anyway what about my bottle idea do you guys think its not right for a guy or does it depend what you write on it??

Truthfully..do you think you are being shunned or.......

many on here say they are being shunned by their family members.in some case this is probably true.

but seriously..could it be that they have a life and they may not have time for you anyway?

or finds you not too much fun to be around?.

i dont knoiw how you can even ask that question if you have been a jw,

my family cry every night beg me to come to the meetings and get reinstated coz it breaks their heart they cant talk to me! they havent choosen this it is because they are loyal to the society

and it pisses me off when they follow the societys 'laws' so much about shunning when others dont!

i have been sent watchtowers that clearly say if a realitive doesnt live at home it is possiable to have no contact at all so that they can make me see why i have to go back!

i hate that religon

one thing ive seen on the internet is a message in a bottle, its a box that gets delivered to his house with a bottle inside with sand and shells and a scroll with whatever you want written on it,

i could send it him a day before coz im at the barbeque so wont be with him,

do you think thats a nice present

a friend of mine wants a book, i dont want to ask him what it is but id like to get it for him for a surprise,.

he paints famous people and apparently this book is by a famous photographer he has done two books and its pictures hes took of famous people, i think the photographers called something like marilyn t something but i think its a man!!!!.
