  i've tried and i've tried now i need help, how do you answer:.

  sorry was trying to cut and paste junis quotes as they were brilliant,

  the 1972 one was just what i was looking for in a few of them they actually say they are phrophets, tho its hard to quote to a jw too far back as they just disregard it (funny that!!)

  also the scrip inspired quote, thanks for that.

  did anyone notice that from about 1975 there seems to be a marked change, before that theres qotes saying they are gods channel etc.. but after the society seems to have changed thier tact saying things like never have we said we are gods phrophets etc

  does that seem strange to anyone?

  it is because they have not heeded the world wide advertising of christs return and his second presence.

  since long before world war i jehovahs witnesses pointed to 1914 as the time for this great event to occur.

  thanks you guys

  its true i guess they do say they are providing the food at the proper time and yet change it a few years later so obviously they cant have been providing the right food

  does any one have any quotes from the societys literture ahere they as good as say they are jehs mouthpiece or inspired as a few ive talked to swear they never said it?

  coz that scrip ak jeff mentioned would prove they are false phrophets, sorry i doubt so much i just want proof!

  really good pionts avid and terry, but i've been given a book called 'jws are not false prhopets' and it stresses how they have never actually said they are inspired (it all boiled down to that word!) do you have any references of any literture where they did claim to be inspired?
