  What do you think the Society's future holds?

  i get the feeling the society is gonna suffer a huge loss of number, with people who are in getting old, those 'raised' in the so called truth leaving and less and less interested ones because more people are aware.. .

  it has its ups and downs but it seems the ups aren't as big as they used to, some never recovered from 1975 and others from the 1995 generation thingy.. your thoughts?.

  They'll keep going for a while and then slowly decline until there are only a few thousand dubs. Then they'll establish communes where all dubs will live together and practice playing New System until they slowly die out...unless some enterprising young GB or Nephinum (or whatever they are called) seizes power and comes up with a whole new bunch of prophesies and directives from Jah and whips the dubs up into a viable money-making publishing house/pseudo-religion again.

  Actually, I have no idea. I'd like to think the majority of JWs would eventually see what's going on and quit, but I doubt that will happen. People sometimes need a safe little box to live in. Sadly, I did too for a while. I don't see that ever completely changing.

  I need a better picture. Not that I really want to see a dog with humanesque equipment or anything.

  Those commercials were a riot! Loved the one with the parents playing Farmer and the Pig and having their kids walk in on them. ::snort::

  What movie disappointed you the most, what one impressed you the most?

  there have been occasion in my life, that movies have come out that i looked so forward to seeing.

  then i see them, and i am so disappointed in the finish product.

  then there are movies i go to see thinking, why am i wasting my time with this junk, and then i end up finding this movie to be something enjoyable and in some cases fantastic.

  I'm trying to remember which movies I've walked out of lately. LOL I've started doing that if I get too bored.

  Crank was definitely odd but it didn't bore me.

  X-men3 was a huge disappointment.

  We lost a family member today...

  what a sad day for our family today.. also, i would like to mention that the men that killed him, did have the guts to come and tell us.

  ( at 6:00am this morning) a lot of people wouldn?t do that so, this is one thing i thanked him for.

  he did feel awful and had more tears then i did when i picked him up and wrapped him in his bedding.. any ways............................ i called the vet to find out how much it would be for a cremation and they want $160.00 bucks!!

  So sorry, morty.

  And, yeah, vets are getting fairly out of hand I think. I lived in farm country for many years and in those days they used to be more practical about pet care and cremation and such. Not any more, tho.

  Is a sexually promiscuous life style linked to depression or insecurity?

  i work in an environment at work that is a mix of adult ranging in age from 18-50. there are 300 plus people in the building, and that means you get a lot of soap operas happening from people sleeping with other people's girlfriends, boyfriends and even people cheating on their spouses with people they work with.

  among the bunch is a large group of people who spend a lot of time passing themselves around, and sampling many sexual partners.

  of the people who i know, i have often found that many do not seem as happy as one might think.

  I agree with the self esteem...or rather lack thereof...as a factor in promiscuous sex. For some women I know who are very active, sex = love or at least acceptance of some sort. Not sure that men have the same motivation.

  knocked on this door! next thing this man answerd with a huge erection poking thru his sports pants! he asked me what did i want, so i just started talking about the magazine, i looked at the sister and i saw her looking at his alert member! i burst out laughing and so did the sister!

  we were holding each other up in the street coz we were lauging that badly!

  material BOY, I'm laughing just reading that. What a riot!

  Sting Rays Being Slaughtered and Mutilated in Irwin backlash

  at least 10 stingrays have been found dead and mutilated on australia's eastern coast since crocodile hunter steve irwin was killed by one of the animals last week.

  the killings have prompted fears of "revenge attacks" against the normally docile fish.
