"He heard that the couple had separated about a year after the man began to study the Jehovah's Witness faith."- big surprise there, another broken family the wt is involved with and probably a big part of the separation.

Article: Telegraph-JW agrees not to show son religious cartoons because of risk of 'Emotional Damage'
by AndersonsInfo inhttps://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/06/11/jehovahs-witness-agrees-not-show-son-religious-cartoons-risk/?wt.mc_id=tmg_share_fb.
a jehovah's witness has agreed not to show his son religious cartoons and has been banned from taking the six-year-old to some church events because it could cause him "emotional damage".
the man is embroiled in a family court dispute with his estranged wife and has been barred by a court from taking the little boy to jehovah's witness assemblies, annual conventions and memorials.. district judge malcolm dodds also said that the father had agreed not to show his son "jehovah's witness cartoons", a decision he described as "wise".

An easy answer to all of this would be to quit knocking on strangers doors to indoctrinate them.
Or, be ready to provide YOUR name and address when knocking on someone's door. If a jw won't even identify themselves as a jw how likely would it be that they will provide the homeowner with their name and address?
Once again you have jw's unwilling to do what they ask of others. They often have the homeowners name, address and even notes about the family! 'husband a Catholic, wife Lutheran, heavy drinker, many kids, etc...etc... weirdos.

In my experience with them knocking on my doors they NEVER want to say they are jw's. I once asked a woman 3 times in a row, "are you a jehovah witness?" she would not identify herself as one. On my last and final very loud time she finally admitted it.
Years later in a jw discussion with my jw I asked him why, if they are so proud to be 'one of' jw's then why won't they even admit it at the doors? His response was that if they did people would just shut the door in their face. So, you know people don't want to talk to you and yet you still insist on annoying them? and that is their 'fine witness'.

How to avoid getting disfellowshipped for having a wordly girlfriend?
by cookiemaster inhey guys, i've been pimo going on full inactive for a very long time, 5+ years.
pretty happy with the current situation.
over the years, i've gotten lots of grief from the local elders and cos for my inactivity, attending wordly public events and social media posts.

Hell, I might even bring her to the KH to keep me company at the memorial (not for indoctrination, she's already redpilled on JWs).- Would you be willing to be seen walking into a Christian church for Easter service? or are you asking her to do what you yourself would not be willing to do?
As a ubm, (mine joined up later in life) I feel sorry for her already.
If you love her then stand up for her, you shouldn't have to hide away your love to soothe cult members. I understand the difficulties with the business, land, etc... but good grief! does this poor woman truly know what she is getting into?
If you end up having a child with her will your jw family understand you as a family are a package deal? Will you allow people to shun you but expect to see your child? Will you bring your child up with the notion that conditional love is the norm?

These stories break my heart. I can't even imagine seeing my grandchild and not swooping her up in my arms. My jw never, ever believes these stories. He just can't fathom it. How can he be in so long now and be so clueless?
All the best to you and your little one.

Wear a cross, works like garlic to vampires. No need to say anything. Once they see a cross they won't even speak to you usually, no eye contact, nada... Works for me.

The beauty of dating and marrying a non jw is that you can get away with anything! Holidays? no problem, just say your non jw spouse is doing the holiday and you are merely keeping the peace. That goes for any jw rules and regulations. Just blame it on the non jw spouse and the 'not saying a word' thing, go along to get along......active jw's who have non jw spouses have the best of both worlds so to speak. They get to hedge their bets (or mental imbalances if you will) and survive the big A even if everyone they love gets destroyed and yet they get to live the life of a non jw most of the time. Win win!
Damn nut cases, us ubm's bite our tongues while our jw's do all sorts of things that are not "allowed" but keep quiet so their authentic personality can shine through when no jw is looking. Hypocrites? yep. Learn the dance and enjoy the moments that come along.
Or leave the jw's all together and live your own authentic life without all the jw bullcrap. Life is short, far shorter than any of us realize until we are closer to the end than the beginning.
