i have followed an ex-jw website that has many articles on the past history of the wts and current articles using wt publications to tell the real truth not just the edited wt version.
considering recent changes this link to df'ing was updated in august 2024. it is worth a serious read, puts things in categories and has timely comments from a long-time ex-jw from australia, ex-bethelite and father is a circuit overseer.
i have used this many times so i don't "reinvent the wheel" when discussing certain topics on jwn.

Balaamsass, your right! they are kind of like the National Enquirer back in the day. Or are they still around? (a newspaper/rag in US that you might find near the checkout line in the grocery store; who's having sex with who, who is breaking up this week, who is having an alien baby, etc...)

Worked for me yesterday. This was up on reddit too so maybe lots of people trying to get the podcast/book affected that page for now? (I have not started to listen to it yet, read the book years ago.)

As an outsider that is the main reason I never let my kids step foot in a kh! Their obsession with sex and all the other inappropriate topics in front of children made me sick. AND NO, Christian churches do not have these discussions around children. The elders, MS, whoever... should be arrested for exposing children to sexually explicit material and possibly grooming.

I also remember when my jw first joined up he said it was disrespectful to say 'jw' instead of the full 'jehovah witness' so naturally I called them dubs.

Most people I know (all non jw's) say, "a jehovah witness", " a big jw" , "a big jehovah", "jehovah Bob, Tom, Suzy (persons name) ", "the jehovahs" or "a jehovah".
I never correct any of them
