  Another JW article about child abuse

  i don't know if this has been posted yet, but i found this on the watchtower web site.

  as usual, it falls far short of meeting the needs of child abuse victims.

  while it mentions the possibility that an abuse perpetrator may end up in prison, i saw no statement advising that child protection authorities or police should be notified.

  they put it on the parents to protect the child no matter what the cost... unless it means reporting a dub as the molester. Then it's better to "wait on the big J"

  What were you disfellowshipped for?

  i recently had a discussion with a witness friend (i'm a secret) and she claimed that witnesses only get disfellowshipped for being unrepentant for immoral acts.

  i am curious to know from those who have been disfellowshipped, what was it for?

  brother chronister strikes again!.

  a two time convicted sex offender that was engaged to a sister was caught in a walmart bathroom attempting to photograph a nine year old boy with his cell phone.

  I hope he spent a lot of time knocking on doors, that way when his face is splashed all over the news, people will recognize him and start asking the hard questions when next a dub comes totheir door.

  the good news: i just saved a bunch more money on my car insurance by switiching to progressive!

  (though i do miss the free talking duck aflac would send me once a year)

  the bad news: it has just been announced at the kingdom hall today that as of now the watchtower is being translated into 152 languages instead of what used to be 151.

  And I noticed there would still be Worldly™ movies to watch with your pet monkey.
  
  I was never one of those JW's who thought we'd be making gigantic leaps forward in tech, I was afraid we'd see how modern society has ruined the earth and so Paradise™ would be a regression back to a low-impact, rain forest tribal lifestyle [AKA the Discovery channel...]
  
  Maybe if those kids went after an education and exercised their minds, they would be using more of their brains, RIGHT NOW!
