  My friend's father died.

  they were estranged for years and only made progress on healing the rift during the last two or three years.

  his passing was pretty sudden and he was not so lucid in the final month.

  i encouraged my friend to call his father and talk to him, even if his dad didn't appear to understand.

  i reported a scam email ("the irs has a rebate for me") to the seattle kiro news website and they taped an interview with me.

  i've never been interviewed like this before.

  shoulda had my copy of coc in the background...

  i hadn't been on the board for a while, it was mostly computer problems but i am once again prowling the internet.

  i had gotten back together with my girlfriend to give it another try but in the end it just fizzled out, we just stopped trying for some reason.

  so i am back to single status and i think i prefer things this way, mostly.
