a bit of backgound info................my husband and i, after being in the org for 20 , high pressured years, faded about 4 years ago and after the usual feelings , anger, sadness, joy etc we had quite a upsetting change of circumstances.

recently my husband told me he didnt think he was in love with me anymore, decided he had missed out on what he really wanted to do with his life.

he wants to get a high powered motor bike, go off and get new friends ( i have no objection but hes blamed me cos he hasnt got any) and now has got a big tatoo on his arm from the shoulder to the elbow.. ive never been really keen on tatoos but sort of gave my inital reluctant support and actually went with him when he had it done!!.

I felt like I was emotionally stunted once I was really out. I behaved somewhat badly in pursuit of an idendity. I did get my tattoo in my earlier 40's but I also live in a much more "accepting" college town. Finding a way in the world is hard enough without the mindfrack of the Dubs.

I have a special friend who is interested in some ink on her chest. I don't like what she's shown me so far but I cannot tell her what to do with her body, and the idea of it doesn't change how I feel about her.

after laylas' : do you think looks are important thread, thought this would be a good follow up.. personally i'm just a regular girl, nothing exception, got good teeth, i do love my hair and don't think i'm ugly, but know that i'm no stunner either .

i've been reading some of the posts here, and i notice a significant number of them make reference to "jehovah" or something called "jehovah's witnesses.

although i attended the kingdom hall services for more than 20 years, i can't say i'm familiar with the term.

could someone enlighten me?

i just joined this forum today after reading the comments on today's watchtower (which i have to attend in about an hour unfortunately).

i was raised in "the truth" and it was only recently that i began to listen to a close friend of mine as he pointed out the secrets and lies that is the watchtower society and governing body.

even though he was informing me for almost a year, he never gave up on me.
