I think I will have a great day, even though I haven't planned anything out yet.
I like the new icon btw.

Early start.
by cyd0099 inthis morning at about 7:15 a pair of dubs came in and ordered one drip coffee to go and before she left she offered me the magazines [awake on top of the wt, just like i used to do].
i politely refused-not interested/i've got customers, but inwardly i thought how rude to just flop those things out on my counter.
at least her day's hours started early... maybe she won't have to go out on christmas.

Yikes!
By that logic they could pin the mags to their clothes and get like sixteen hours of witnessing a day. -

The Egyptian is a favorite of mine as well, not as fancy as the Cinerama, but still really cool.
I saw Battle Royale there a few years back at SIFF and while I stood in line, Quentin Tarintino brushed by me and bumped my shoulder.

Thanks, it's been fun altthough hard becoming the person I've always felt I was. -

What are the first things you notice when you enter a JW home?
by JH ina) you'll find no ash trays.
b) no lottery tickets laying on the counter.
c) a jw calendar in sight for everyone to see.

Don't forget the mountain of pill bottles, vitamins, and other snake-oil on top of the fridge.

What I mean here is I found a group who were starting an indie theater here in town. I like movies and started to volunteer. I made friends with the staff and other volunteers as well as getting to know the locals.
Since we all had the common ground of film, conversations were easy enough to start and were entertaining and not too stressful. Not having the stigma of Dub in my new town, I got a reputation as a pretty cool guy and started to be recognized in the downtown.
From there I have branched out into other avenues of the arts, I live downtown. I work in a popular coffeehouse and have made a number of good friends.
I guess the upshot is I embraced something I had a passion for, got involved, and as a result grew as a human being.
