Really a ''generation'' can be ANYTHING the boys in Juraszic Park SAY it is - 70 years - 80 IF special mightiness? 120 years? 140 years ( Job survived the time of judgment in which he was an unwilling captive of Satan the Devil, "the god of this world," and lived for 140 years afterward)... maybe even 969 years...

Donald - According to the Lord's Witnesses (The Bible Code), the year 2014 holds significance :-
2014Elul 7 year kingship malediction on 2NC saints ends. We start ruling the Kingdom on earth under the authority of the 1NC saints. The evening meal of the lamb's marriage is finished. We have learned how to run the Kingdom of God - hopefully. Armaggedon having finished in 2008 (elul).....

Hello Donald - I wasn't aware of 2014 (but nothing would surprise me - not even the maths as to how it's arrived at). I posted a similar topic on the year 2034 - which is 1914 (a year that CANNOT be abandoned) + the 120 years JW83 previously mentioned. Here's the link -

''Honesty'' isn't listed in the ''Insight'' book - there's ''LIE'', and its opposite ''TRUTH''.

UN and Mat 24:15 and 16
by JGraves inhey everyone, i'm living in st kitt's and recently got disfellowshipped and also asked to be withdrawn as a member of the watchtower bible and tract society.
as all witnesses know, this is a serious and often challenging thing to do, to stand up for your faith and belief that jehovahs people and organisation need to be clean.. i've made that stand, i've made it clear to the missionary elder here; "my concience will not allow me to associate with an organisation that was affiliated with a political organisation, or one that promotes govermental propoganda above jehovahs own word and message.
(the watchtower 91 issues sent to you via email)".

The second requisite for true religion mentioned by James was "to keep oneself without spot from the world." Jesus stated: "My kingdom is no part of this world"; consistently, his true followers would be "no part of the world." (John 15:19; 18:36) Can this be said of the clergy and priests of any of this world?s religions? They endorse the United Nations. Many of their leaders accepted the pope?s invitation to meet in Assisi, Italy, in October 1986 to unite their prayers for the success of the UN-sponsored "International Year of Peace." However, their efforts were in vain, judging by the millions killed in the wars of that year and in the years since. The clergy often hobnob with the ruling political party, while treacherously making secret deals with the opposition so that whoever rules will view them as "friends."?James 4:4.8
Jehovah?s Witnesses have made a reputation for themselves as Christians who remain neutral in political affairs and in the conflicts of this world. They maintain this stance on all continents and in all nations, as attested to by press reports and modern historical records in all parts of the world. They are truly "without spot from the world." Theirs is the "religion that is pure and genuine in the sight of God."?James 1:27, Phillips.am still searching for the 2001 WT - lol.

Gentle Guidance

Auntie Jane - I stumbled across this forum by accident while searching for something else. I 'lurked' a little while, thinking that the posters here would be a variety of oddballs. However, after reading many posts I began to relate to so much (ever since leaving the Org, I have always felt that I alone harboured certain feelings - how wrong I was!).I have learnt so much.
As you feel your friend isn't ready for this forum yet, maybe you could print off a few postings from here that he will be able to relate to? Many posters have suffered deperssion upon leaving the Org, and perhaps if he reads a few experiences he will realise he's not alone.
Best Wishes. Midwich.
