  Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions regarding "attention seekers"?

  we all love it when people pay attention to us or our opinions.

  but what i am talking about is people who crave and force attention from others.

  not just people who talk a lot, but those that force everyone around them to focus on them and them only.. in one of my classes there is a woman who raises her hand to ask a question, but never really has a question to ask.

  Lol - reniaa, not at all!!! You REPEATEDLY go on about being on these forums - almost obsessively. Your 'tragic life' and children that must be demanding (due to a combination of age and 'disability'), yet I think a lot of posters are concerned they must be neglected to some degree. I know Mouthy is very caring, forgiving and sensitive - and yet you dismiss her GENUINE concern and prayer KNOWING it will cause her HURT. Despicable.

  I think reniaa suffers from a persecution complex (although quite common amongst JWs, hers is extreme - maybe that's why she feels 'connected' to them). She appears to have been a victim all her adult life, and she would possibly love to be banned from these forums just to reinforce her self loathing and feed her 'I'm a victim' status. If she is as she represents herself, I think she's in dire need of clinical intervention...and Social Services should (possibly) be concerned about her kids' welfare.

  Would a definite article prove that Jesus is God?

  from what i've studied of jw's, john 1:1 is interpreted as "and the logos was (a) god".

  therefore, because there is no definite article in john 1:1 for example, one supposedly cannot confirm that jesus is referred to as "the god".

  so my question for the jw is "what if jesus were reffered to with a definite article in the nt"?

  To be fair Isaac - as a real JW, if I'd have accidently stumbled upon this site, I'd have just smirked to myself knowing it to be false and clicked out (and felt superior). And, I think, that's what 'real' JWs do now. They don't need to be 'warned away' by a WT wannabe victim - the WT already does that.
