Just watched this on news (England) and his neighbours are shocked, 'such an unassuming man, devoted to his wife and kids, a Jehovah's Witness'. His oldest victim was 93 according to report.

Ooops, prematurely pressed return...the condition of 'annointed' only exists in the heads of those professing to be. In my opinion, anyone who professes to be hand picked by God to RULE is delusional (or just living in a fantasy world).

Will someone please explain the difference between 'anointed' and 'genuine anointed'?
'anointed' = delusional
'genuine anointed'= sectionable

a "Blood" experience...
by AwSnap ini was speaking with a lady today & found out she's been a nurse in the blood transfusion unit at our hospital for the past 15 years.
i said, "i have an off-the-wall question for you...i was having a discussion with somebody about jehovah's witnesses.
i know they're not allowed to get blood transfusions but they can get fractions, right?

And I'm angered that Witnesses are allowed to take the blood fractions that others have so kindly donated. Yet they refuse to donate blood.
I bet there are loads of examples where they don't mind benefitting from a source that they refuse to donate to...have JWs benefitted from 'The Red Cross' during disasters?

I totally don't understand the comment I received when remarking to a JW about the changes in the blood issue....I was told that the Bible hasn't changed but science has, that's why fractions are allowed. Doesn't make sense, but I suspect that this JW had desperately tried to remember the WT answer for such occasions, lol (let's face it, they don't actually THINK or use logic, just repeat parrot fashion...if they can remember)

JW Discussion Board Lifts Another Story from Another Religion
by blondie inhttp://ohr.edu/yhiy/article.php/3956/html/rss/.
several years ago a rabbi from out-of-state accepted a call to a community in houston, texas.
some weeks after he arrived he had an occasion to ride the bus from his home to the downtown area.

In the above example, where the 'brother' is taken out for a coffee and when he (and his wife) returned later to find a small branch of Tesco in their kitchen, not knowing who had left it...did they not think who had a key/broken into their house? I'm assuming it wasn't left open with no one at home. I'm also assuming it never happened...call me cynical. The 'Gary' story sounds familiar too...
Did you know that regular pioneers
can count some of their time in relief work as ministry time on their time slips?
Things like this make me feel angry. So they don't help out of Christian Love, but just to notch up Brownie points?
Jehovah's Witnesses are known for putting Christlike love into action
Yeah right..known by whom? They are told from the platform this is the case, and they are disillusioned enough to believe the whole World regards them as 'charitable' too.
Thanks for posting Blondie...even if articles like this really wind me up, lol.

nelly makes a good point...however I'm thinking of the security aspect of keeping these records, eg if there's a record held at KH of the same address being 'not at home' consistently during certain hours.

Will we be hearing this at a local Kingdom Hall soon?
Carpediem - I heard that one as a young dub... the big blokes (angels) either side of the sister out on ministry.

Invalid Baptism
by dssynergy innew to the board, first post.
just curious if anyone has ever tried to leave because of an invalid baptism.
if a person felt their baptism was invalid because they did it under pressure, and did not really devote themselves to jehovah, and would not now be baptized if given the chance ~ would they still be disfellowshipped or disassociated??

White Dove - My baptism was for status and nothing more.
Yes White Dove - that and shifting responsibility.
