  Emailing my sister RE: Child abuse conviction - NEED HELP!!

  so the other night, my family was together and my dad brought up the recent child abuse conviction for the society.

  big surprise, my sister hadn't heard anything about it, so of course she got right on to the jw.org website and emailed me the link to the watchtowers official statement.

  of course everyone knows about the news of the candace conti child abuse case which has gone viral , ( one would have to live in a cave, under a rock, or another planet not to know about it ).

  that being said - it may very well be that those jehovah's witnesses who do not use the internet, or read newspapers, or in simple english are neanderthal's, still living in the 19th century or before , out of fear of negative reprisal from wt authorities may have not even heard about this case because they are in the habit of not watching the news or using the internet.. so- with those particular type of people in mind my son flipper jr. & myself decided to print up about 20 copies of the candace conti child abuse lawsuit from the england daily mail issue , here's the link : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2160605/candance-conti-molested-jehovahs-witnesses-member-age-nine-wins-28milion.html?ito=feeds-newsxml .. so what we did is since we are doing some out of town jobs in several counties we figured we'd leave these child abuse news releases under jw car windshields at kingdom halls while they are out in field service.

  we left about 15 so far at 3 different kingdom halls under car windshields .

  Why the Watchtower Can't Drop Its Appeal

  i don't think the society can afford to drop this appeal.

  1. if they loose their appeal it opens them up to huge amounts of liability.

  they need the courts to come down on their side of the clergy-penitent confidentiality issue.

  Wondering about this Child abuse thng,How do I file a case?

  kinda wondering about this,because our p.o.used to take me,and probably other young girls out,alone,in field service,and let his penis hang out of his pants.i was so young,that i really wasnt sure what it was.being raised on a farm,and slaughtered many animals,i though it was some sort of entrail'..i know,ignorant country girl.this happened for years tho..another girlfriend had an elder try to touch her on several occasions,and was publicly reproved when she told her mum{a devout jw} about it...not looking for any money,but it would be nice to get all of them.the guy that i had my issues with had an airplane and always counseled others on materialism.my brother got 'counseled'by this clown, because he put an 8track in his car!!

  aquagirl - he sounds a real charmer. You owe it to others (and yourself) to get him 'exposed' (bad choice of words). He could be contnuing to do this with other kiddies. Could you also contact any of your peers from your childhood congregation to find out if he exposed himself to them too?

  A Real and Authentic Letter from a Jehovah's Witness Mother to Her Son

  i found this letter on dave reekie's blog and asked him if i could write a piece about it.

  i am glad that he accepted.. it's so rare to find a real, authentic handwritten letter from a jehovah's witness parent to their disfellowshipped child, so we hope you can read it and show it to any apologists that claim the watchtower society doesn't condone shunning.. you can read the article here.. .
